If it passes, they can start feeding her glucose intravenously to get the fastest results. Hopefully they will do that, because it looks as if this particular nursing home has been rather too willing to cooperate with her husband.

From what I understand it's a hospice, which could explain your observation.

What happens after the 15 days? Does she get her feeding tube back and then they remove it again in 15 days? I'm not quite understanding.
