The Democratic Party is no longer the province of honest liberals. Sure a minority of them exist there, but by and large, since the Boomer generation and its counterculture ideology infected the DP, right on the heels of explicit efforts by Communists and Socialists to infiltrate it (note that for '04 the Communists will not foot a presidential candidate as they reckon the Dems will do their agenda well), the DP is no longer driving for the goals of the Constitution and our Founding Fathers.

You are assuming that the President could get air time.

He would get ONE speech or press conference with your theme. Then he would get no coverage, and opponents would get 24/7 to demonize his opinions.

While I do not disagree with your philosophy, I think you are not understanding the PR problems.

What you are saying is that a Rep. or Senator must represent the mood and beliefs of his constituents, otherwise re-election is in doubt.

It seems that republicans will eat their own often, when democrats NEVER do!

Democrat voters, for the most part do not even have a clue as to what is is their party's platform. They vote because someone told them that democrats represent the working man and the poor. They could care less and will never know or understand that they elected a socialist or a commie.

The media never prints anything that may hurt a democrat unless it is criminal in nature and even then they are slooooooowwwwwwwww! to get to the presses.

This is a real battle for the hearts and minds of people everywhere. After they mess with our kid's minds in school, we have to reclaim them. And we are making progress thanks to brave conservative lecturers who go onto our campuses.

We have to stay committed to the fight. We have to keep the goal in mind always.

Get rid of the democrats.

It's goofy (at the minimum) to equate that with not calling out a liberal slob criminal like George Ryan, former governor of Illinois just because he was a member of the Illinois Republican party. I will speak badly (and truthfully) about him and those like him at every opportunity.
