Prevent Florida State Senator James King From Blocking Terr's Law

Florida Governor Jeb Bush is finally pursuing a course to save the life of Terri Schiavo. Governor Bush is calling a special session of the Florida legislatureon Monday to pass legislation that he worked on with Florida Speaker of the House Johnnie Byrd. ``Terri's Bill'' would immediately suspend all dehydration and starvation deaths in the state.
LifeNews.com, however is reporting that one man is the greatest obstacle to this happening, Florida Senate President Jim King, the man who controls the state Senate's agenda.
It's obviously important that we contact all state representatives, Senators, and other parties, but it is absolutely critical we put the pressure on Senator King!
Senator James E. "Jim" King, Jr.is the state Senator from Florida's district 8, which covers parts of Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, and Volusia counties. Especially if you live in his district, please call him and tell him that he needs to listen to Governor Bush and Speaker Byrd and put this on the agenda tomorrow. Tell him you think this bill needs to be passed ASAP. And call any relatives or friends you have who live in that district to call (or email) him. Right now, he may be the one person with the most power to stop this bill. Let's let him know it needs to get passed. He needs some serious Freeping!

The Florida House scheduled a Monday night session to take up the issue. In the Senate, President Jim King said he will propose legislation that would give Gov. Jeb Bush the authority to order the feeding tube be reinserted to keep Terri Schiavo alive.
~~~~~~~~~
from the sounds of this, he is the one recommending it.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Senate President Jim King said Monday he would propose legislation that could save the life of a severely brain-damaged woman whose feeding tube was removed last week by her husband's order.
King, R-Jacksonville, said the measure would give Gov. Jeb Bush the authority to order that the feeding tube be reinserted to keep Terri Schiavo (pictured, left) alive.
I know you from other threads. You take great delight in being rude to other Freepers. I don't know why you spend time on Free Republic except to criticize other Freepers.
Free Republic is not the only internet site discussing Terri.
"BREAKING NEWS: Governor Jeb Bush and the speaker of the Florida House are "expanding the call" so that Terri Schindler-Schiavo's fight against starvation will be addressed by the Florida Legislature tonight, Monday, October 20, starting at 7:45 PM."
Is there a source for this?
"That is an awful statement. I suppose you have proof to back it up? Billions, yeah right. What is the industry by the way? You kooks are willing to do and say anything. You are on the same level as Joe McCarthy investigating commies under every rock."
Read Ann Coulter's book "Treason". Joe McCarthy found plenty of Communists that the Dems were ignoring. Some in very high places. Comparing someone to Joe McCarthy is what the liberals do.
Too bad about both boys dying. Hugs to you for your brother. My uncle and his son, who were scum to begin with, found out my grandparents had a small savings which they wanted. They filed incompetency against my grandparents who were just as bright as always. It was all lies. My grandmother was so stressed she had a heart attack and died. The day of her funeral, my grandfather went to bed and stayed there until he willed himself to die 5 months later. My grandfather had said his son would pay and Hell. Since, my uncle died in a fire he started and the son died of a heart attack.
Is there time to get the food tube reinstalled -- tonight? Why can't Jeb get it installed NOW while he waits on the legislature? Time is too important to diddle.
Keep praying....
"Enlightenment" philosophy Lets not get personal. Our founding fathers were children of the Enlightenment, especially Jefferson and Franklin. By the way the enlightenment was a reaction against the Dark Ages. I guess you preffered those days?
Someone here off handedly mentioned there ought to be a Terri Bill and low and behold the very next day jeb has a Terri Bill ready for the special session. Sick. Just plain sick of whomever started this rumor. More likely that one of your own heard that the Florida legislature was being called into special session and someone made the assumption that it was to pass a so called Terri Bill.
They are actually discussing passing the Terri Bill as we speak. Hunt down a link (you aren't worth my time hunting it down for you) and watch it live if you want proof.
