Freepers, we need your help NOW! This is coming to you from Terri's family, live from the vigil site.
Jeb Bush has called an emergency special session and they will take it up 8:05am eastern time.IF the measure passes, Terri's execution will be stayed and feeding/hydration will resume immediately. She will be SAVED if this bill passes.
We need you ALL to call the Florida Legislative Branch - House and Senate. They can be found at
http://www.floridasoundoff.com/browse/pol_contact.htm
All contact numbers and emails can be found at this url.
Terri is still alive and she's starting to really feel the effects of dehydration. Her skin is starting to crack, and she is in pain - but TERRI IS FIGHTING TO LIVE. This is NOT over. By the Grace of God, she is still alive. If Terri is willing to fight, we have an obligation to fight along side her. No matter where you are tonight, or where you are registered to vote, we need you to call these Florida Legislators NOW.

Well, it just so happens that after lunchtime, Jim King's office changed their tune. I also heard that while calls were placed to agencies in Tallahassee, folks up there at various offices reported steady stream of faxes cranking out. This was the biggest freep of my life. Every room in my house has Terri notes, stuff, thrown clothes, camera equipment, briefcases, file folders - in other words, a big mess! When Terri is saved and back on the feeding tube, I can clean up this place. There are many messy households in Tampa Bay and beyond.

We've changed our sign messages every day as the situation evolves. By this evening, the Vigil group decided not to do the big sign display at this time as they've already been seen around the world. The messages are out of date only one week later. But, that's a good thing.

What wonderful news! Will keep praying and freeping. Yay! I'll have to admit, I was getting pretty dejected by late afternoon, and then had a huge round of errands to do. It took my mind off Terri for a little bit, but I'm so glad that now that I've checked back in, things look promising for tomorrow. Please, God, protect Terri from any further harm. Comfort her and feed her, till earthly assistance comes through!
Oh, and FV, the messy households made it up to Columbus! LOL! I'm sure my husband will be very relieved when I start paying more attention to my duties around here. Have a good night, all!

I'll tell myself hello from you. lol
I told the family that you wished them well, etc. Talked to all of them except sis wasn't around today. I'm not publicizing their names at FR.
I came home early after we got the great news re: the special session tonight. It happened tonight after I called Johnny Byrd's office and told them what was really happening on scene at the vigil and about my concern for Terri's hour by hour decline which was inevitable.
I didn't know that there would be a special session when I hung up with them, but found out from a reporter who repeated my words back to me as spoken by Johnny Byrd to him. I didn't tell him that I just said that to JB. It was very surreal. Remember you said it was surreal. Please read my tag line. Terri will need us for another two weeks or longer.

We are living a nightmare. We have to fight to keep from being murdered by our own government.

Thanks for the update, FV. Watched the session tonight and was thankful for the positive vote. Hope the Senate hurries with a YES tomorrow.
Prayers for Terri and her family.

Terri's sweet brother always tells her to "hang in there." She is listening to her brother and everyone is praying for her to be remain alert and awake as she was today and are waiting for that tube to be restored and for hubby to be removed as guardian. All of these things are possible for tomorrow.
The vote in the House this evening was approx. 63 for Terri to "not starve" and 23 for Terri "to starve". Once we find out who voted for Terri to be ultimately killed, we can post their names on Free Republic so that they get voted out of office next time. They really don't deserve to be called public servants.
But for now, we must tone down the rhetoric. This created such a firestorm that Tallahassee is trying to maintain order and decorum while they hold these critical special sessions. This was in a press conference but the leaders in Tallahassee are receiving death threats, in addition to hubby's, Greer's and Felos'. But, that's different than starving Terri. Go figure.
Just passing along that it was brought up in the last press conference at the Vigil this evening. I am sticking to what I hear as it happens and as the family's legal team or media relations hold press conferences. We are abiding by guidelines to insure that Terri wins tomorrow. FV

Speaking of outrage on your side of the border, I caught the headline of another thread awhile ago something about Canada banning Bibles in public hospitals (...out of respect for all faiths, of course). What's up with that?

The sptimes.com tomorrow will have a story by Alex Smith. He was trying to make the story about Jeb Bush and he very well might. He talked to me and I said that the democrat judges and the republican leaders were all to blame. I stated that Jeb Bush can rehabilitate his image but that he took too long to act. I wasn't going to go ballistic about Jeb because it's not like he hasn't done anything.
Check out their web site tonight or tomorrow and see if they snipped me out. lol I'm starting to see how the media operates. They are very selective so the news is slanted, not very objective except for conservative radio feeds. They were passionate and spoke the truth.

Tax Relief or dandelion or somebody brought up your name this evening. Believe me, we really appreciate FR holding down the fort. Terri owns the internet at this moment. She really should. She's brought the entire world together - that's a miracle in itself.

We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our supplications to our Heavenly Father are being heard.
He cares for the weak, the helpless, and the humble.
So we know we are praying according to His will, and according to His heart.
And if we continue to pray according to His will without ceasing, His answers will be glorious.
That isn't to say that His ways are not higher than our ways; we may not always grasp what He is doing. But it is all going to work out to His glory and to our good.
I found it quite interesting that a poster said that there isn't alot of activity or interest in this case over on DU. We should not be surprised, since those folks are lost and without God. Why should we expect them to care about Terri, or about the things that are in God's heart? After all, they don't even know Him.
To: floriduh voter
Yes, Terri is very special. And we continue to pull for her and to pray for her and her brave family. Give them a big FR hug for us.
