Gov. Bush calls special session over Terri Schiavo

TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.

The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.

Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

MSNBC Reporter Mark Potter: Tell me, what was your reaction to the Senate vote?

Bob Jr: Just extrememly happy for my sister Terri. Looks like we're one step closer to getting her back on food and water.

Potter: What do you think about the move that the Governor made, taking steps to change the law, he said he couldn't work under current law, so he went and had the law changed, what do you think about that?

Bob Jr.: I think the Governor was genuinely concerned, seeing the videos of Terri, and seeing that we were starving to death a person with mental handicaps, a disabled person.

Potter: I need to ask you about the condition of your sister, you've been in to see her. She's been without food for six full days, how is she doing in your view?

Bob Jr.: Well, time is critical, she seems to still be alert and responsive, she seems to still be holding her own. But every second is an hour for Terri right now, we need to get her the medical attention she needs as quickly as possible.

Potter: What have the doctors told you about how much time she has before being without food becomes a really critical issue?

Bob Jr.: Well, they told us to look for some certain signs, and those signs don't seem to have appeared yet, so we're still hopeful that if we get in there and help her, that she'll be okay.

Potter: Thank you for your time and thanks for talking with us.

Dr's are standing by to reinsert the tube RIGHT NOW!!!
PRAY for her, she has been without food and water as of 5
PM (our time) Flordia time 153 hours and she is very weak,
but as soon as the order is handed to the director, it
begins!!! PRAY all goes well and her body begins to heal

As soon as The Guardain is appointed A Dr standing by WILL
start an IV line into Terri to rehyrate her, she is
extreemly weak, but responsive. Gerr has sent a letter
saying they will SUE the hospice house or anyone that
gives Terri fluids. Keep praying for Terri and her
