[history]
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Syndicated New York radio personality Don Imus excoriated Rush Limbaugh last week in the wake of the conservative talk show host's admission that he is addicted to prescription painkillers.
"Rush is a fat, pill-popping loser and an undisciplined slob who was turning his maid into a drug pusher," Imus observed on his show. "As soon as he gets caught, he starts whining ... suck it up, fatso. Stop taking 100 pills a day or whatever ... and employ some discipline in your life."

His business selling clothes, salsa, etc went under, his wife is a pain in the ass,he's 60+ years old with a 5 year old kid who's a spoiled brat, his ranch is a money drain.Imus has got a lot to be miserable about. I didn't realize he had these troubles. ( am I allowed a smile?)

I don't listen to him anymore, it takes to much effort trying to understand his mutterings.

A hundred pills a day? This claim appears to be greatly exaggerated. ALL of the claims seem to be exaggerated! I haven't seen any REAL identifiable source of information YET. Even Evan Thomas's snide column last week relied on a 'law enforcement source' in Palm Beach. Does anyone realize that this 'source' could be any Democrat sitting in an office in the courthouse? There have been no names attached to any solid accusations; the only name we have is the housekeeper who sold her story to the Enquirer. As far as I know, there have been NO other witness come forward giving any other information. I'm reserving judgement until there's some solid info.

Imus is a low-life. He always has been and he always will. In any comparisons between him and Rush, class will out.

his ranch is a money drainI doubt that's true. The ranch is a charity, and he collects around $2M/yr. to run it. About 100 kids/yr. spend a week there each.
But he has spent a lot of money on the children's ward at Hackensack hospital.

Imus, is as dumb in the head, as a pig is in the a$$.
To: Flyover Country
It's easy to see that quite a few freepers have picked up on Imus's insulting mannerisms.

"One poster has said they were taking the same medication, and could manage nicely on 2 capsules a day, even with extreme pain".
...My hydrocodone is prescribed to be taken up to, two caps four times per day. Two caps or three in a day do the trick for me. People metabolize things differently though and then there is the fact that with long term usage your body requires more to achieve the same effect.

I think that is the point. Rush takes himself too seriously.I think Imus is overrated, but at least he can laugh at himself. Rush is unable to laugh at himself. IMO

Can you believe Imus is calling anyone an "undisciplined slob?"
Doesn't Imus have a mirror?

Imus has gone downhill even compared to his early days in radio. . .
One of the first jobs he had (or the first, I don't remember now) was right down the boulevard at Radio 1470 KUTY in Palmdale (California) (back in the days when it was a top 40 format, not the "Radio Unica" format it now has). He was then known as "Captain Don" and would also announce the bingo numbers (a then current KUTY station promo). As kids we were told by our parents, and neighbor's parents, NOT to listen to KUTY in the afternoon after school - his time slot - because of his ribald phrases and (to a late 1960's listener's ears) shocking remarks. If I remember the story right - and I was here while he was here, remember - KUTY fired him for being out of bounds with his ribald remarks. We kids could then turn away from that "beautiful XTRA music" and go back to top 40 KUTY after school again - and we were thankful. "Captain Don" only lasted here a few months.
Re: "The DJs that put down others leave me flat." That's all I'm going to say about that. . .
