Are you the only member of the Red Sox Nation fan pulling for the Yanks? No, I guess you can count me in also, although I'm not a die-hard Red Sox fan. I've had such a love/hate relationship with the Sox over the years that I can't fully commit to them.
The Marlins mean nothing to me... I just can't see rooting for some team that was slapped together in 1991. I prefer the "old" teams with a rich history such as the Yankees.
Also, here in central Connecticut, fans are split about 50/50 Red Sox/Yankees, so I'm also siding with one of our "hometown" teams.
Go Yankees!

The Yankees aren't the only team to lay the Sox low.

And I'll bet it wouldn't take you a half-hour to get down to first in the process.

Witnesses say that Eric Actonski, last nights first base umpire, avoided eye contact with Palmeiro throughout the game. I think my on-field erection made some people uncomfortable, Palmeiro said. His new nickname (obviously): "Rod"

Should be interesting to see how these two teams of destiny fare in this series. Yankees have won how many championships and Florida has never lost a playoff series. Very interesting...
