Terri Schiavo - CALL TO ACTION - Tallahassee Area

As you may already know, Gov Jeb Bush has not yet taken steps to protect the life of Terri Schindler-Schiavo. This is in spite of memorandums of law from several notable legal scholars ensuring him that he has the legal authority and obligation to do so. People in the Tallahassee area of Florida are encouraged to hold vigil at the capitol offices as well as the Governor's mansion. Signs and banners can be fashioned inexpensively and will assist you in getting your message across. Please spread the word. Thank you.

I've heard about the story for over a week now. I simply never paid attention before. I had other things that I was more concerned about. I just today took the time to study it a little.
I took offense to the condecending tone of your response. You may be passionate about this issue, but that is no excuse for rudeness.
NEWBYBOY was just word play on your screen name, you are in fact a "newby".
If you are in this forum for the thoughtfull exchange of ideas I welcome you. I will however treat your with the same level of courtesy with which you treat me. Whether that level is very high or very low is up to you.

Just hang around for awhile and let it pass.....
The thing is, we get a lot of newbie posters and they turn out to be DU disruptors and very quickly get booted. We got so many of them, in fact, that we began checking the dates for when people join FR. And sometimes we push newbies to see if they are really disruptors in disguise. I've done it. You will do it too, if you stick around.
FR is like a giant club or a really giant family. We're just a tad protective at times....hope this helps..
WELCOME to FR!!

She didn't have a feeding tube down her throat. Read up on the story, please.
She had a port for feeding and hydration.

"IT IS ALL THERE ON HER SITE WWW.TERRISFIGHT.ORG. Don't ask anyone anything until you learn to read."
The above statement is what I found to be rude. If it was not intended to be then I may have over reacted and I appologize.
New people are welcomed to this forum with open arms, but statements like the above mentioned on your first day wont make you any friends.

The more I read of this situation, the sicker it becomes. We ought to start praying for that judge, too.

Placed it under the Disability Rights portion of the ACLU forum.
Please everyone, sign up and post your thoughts, ideas on the ACLU website. Maybe we can actually get them to help us on this one.

I am going to call the Gov. in a few minutes Good luck. All I get is a recording that the governor's voice mail cannot take any more messages. It seems that nobody in the governor's mansion has the guts to answer the pone!

Judge Greer warned him? WOW!!! They are definitely intent on killing this girl. ( not that I ever doubted that).
Thanks for the info.
