FREEP JEB BUSH for TERRI SCHINDLER-SCHIAVO
http://www.Terrisfight.org | Friday, 10-17-03 | floriduh voter

Posted on 10/17/2003 2:59:38 PM PDT by freeparoundtheclock

FREEPERS, I have taken a break from Terri's 24/7 Vigil to ask for your participation in the next phase of trying to save Terri's life while we wait for good news.

I have not received the Governor's Itinerary for the following week yet from myflorida.com.

We are asking Floridians and out-of-staters to freep the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee.

If you need ideas for signs, it's basically urging Governor Bush to issue an executive order to stay Terri's starvation.

At this time, the Florida Supremes are reviewing filings today by Terri's counsel.

We need northern Florida to freep Jeb Bush STAT whether he's there or not.

Finally, if anyone receives Jeb's schedule in their e-newsletter, please post it here so we can hold Terri vigils in whatever town Jeb is in.

Sorry, I can't be more informative at this time. I'm sunburn and tired and this request has come from Terri's team. Thank you in advance. Floriduh Voter

Chad, Mr. and Mrs. Schindler have lost their house trying to defend their daughter. They have asked that the court permit them to take her home with them at their expense for full-time care. The Schindlers are reputable people with a passion for their disabled daughter. They have held out no hands demanding that government support them.

I would further add that an insurance settlement of $750K was paid into a trust fund for the express purpose of Terri's rehabilitation. Whether or not such money should have been paid, I would suggest that Terri is much more deserving of it than the Schiavo Triumvirate.

This woman is being murdered and you post "yawn"???

I am not as good a Christian as others here, as I would laugh at your "yawn" as I choked the life from you.

An Indian would not condone this as you are. You are lying on one premise or another.

"What you are calling for is for a state law by the national government to be overturned because you don't agree with it."

You need to learn to read here buckwheat. State laws OPPOSE and CRIMINALIZE the abuse and neglect of this women. What I am calling for is the enforcement of that law. Such an action by either state or federal authorities is fully supported by constitutional and natural law. That you misrepresent what I said shows your inability to read and reason.

Yup.

If the federal government isn't justified in enforcing the inalienable rights of the citizens, then why did the founders ever create it?

I did not know that a federal judge had requested the case file, Calpernia. If so, is that hopeful? If the judge is a Carter or Clinton appointee, I would say forget it. It must not the judge from Oct. 10 who requested the material. And I don't think there is enough time left now. Nero fiddled while Rome burned as they said, and the FL judicial system is as tyrannical in this case as was Nero.

When you start acting like an adult, you'll get response that reflect that.

Did I say anything about the Shindlers in my post? We were discussing generic federal handouts, or so I thought.

I'm yawning at a poster who is doing nothing but posting personal attacks on me - or are you condoning THAT?.

By "Acting like an adult", of course, you mean "Agree 100% with me" - which I will not do.

So, by all means, keep up with the personal attacks.

I know. I have such bad character. Loving the country I live in, fought for, and nearly died for

Someone else is about to die for it. Or rather, for what it's become. Is that what you "almost" died to defend?

I guess I should just go out to the barn and hang myself in shame.

Whatever turns you on.

Well what is the parallel between generic federal handouts and the Schindlers? I see none. They have had pro bono lawyers. They are not wealthy but have much less than they did before they devoted all to Terri's fight.

Any reason to fear that "Florida" (I assume you mean SCOFLA) may wait until Terri's dead to release the case, just to make everything moot?

That would be quaint.

What "attacks"? You word warble, that's a fact. You reject every rational legal strategy suggested, that's a fact. You play games like a sophomoric debate fiend and I call you on it. Then you "yawn". Your words brand you. Love with them.

This is why we have three coequal branches of government. In that case, the police powers vested in the executive come into play.

Exactly. Otherwise we have judicial supremecy.

Chad, this is not about you or me or someone else on this forum. This is about the right of a disabled woman to receive therapy and live with her loved ones. This right has been taken away by the State of FL.

Ask Chad, the yawner.

Well, we were discussing the federal government with regards to handouts and taking care of the disadvantaged. I was in no way referring to the Schindlers. I guess we got sidetracked having a nice discussion about constitutional law and state's rights etc... I wasn't actually talking about the Schindler's at all. I think they have shown a lot more trust in the government than I ever could, and I admire them for the fight they have fought...

>>>>If so, is that hopeful?

Not hopeful since they (FL) didn't respond. She may not make it to Monday.

>>>If the judge is a Carter or Clinton appointee, I would say forget it.

He is not.

>>>It must not the judge from Oct. 10 who requested the material.

Have a link for that? I can confirm if it is. I don't know who you are referring to here.

>>>And I don't think there is enough time left now. Nero fiddled while Rome burned as they said, and the FL judicial system is as tyrannical in this case as was Nero.

I don't think there is enough time now either. Nor does he.

No, but the namecalling, because I disagree with her is about me. So I chose to stop talking with her. Pretty simple, but she is STILL attacking. So, I'm doing my best to ignire her, because you are right - this isn't about me, or her - it's about Terri.
