Hypnotist Assaults Student at Northwestern U. Library

Northwestern University police have reportedly launched an investigation and increased patrols after several students reported they were hypnotized by an unidentified man in the university library. At least one of those students has claimed she was sexually assaulted. Sarah Bush, a junior at the university, wrote in a guest column for the Daily Northwestern that a man at the library asked her to take part in "a psychology study" that involved some relaxation techniques. Bush wrote she later awakened from a hypnotic state and realized the man was asking her to lie down on the floor. Bush said she doesn't think of the library "as a scary place," but noted that the library stacks can provide cover for such activity. University Librarian David Bishop told the newspaper that the library was indeed a security challenge because its many nooks, crannies, and towers but said no specific changes in security have been made since the last reported incident two months ago.

You are getting very sleepy...

Actually, a friend of mine is a hyponotist and I have filmed his shows in the past. He can get people to do things you couldnt imagine, and that the person would never do if not hypnotised.

I tried to hypnotize my secretary to leave her husband, marry me, clean my house and make me dinner.

It didn't work.

Bush wrote she later awakened from a hypnotic state ...

Well, I don't want to bring Kobe into this, but I have a feeling that -- This is Bush's fault!

no one can be hypotized unless they want to be hypnotized, one said person is hypotized, they will not take a suggestion that they do not want to do....

You're 100% correct. I use hypnotherapy for my patients on nearly a daily basis.

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis.
