Petition to Censure Senator Kennedy
Please email the following to the Senate Majority Whip at: senator@mcconnell.senate.gov
Then sign it at the bottom
__________________________________________________
Subject: The Senate Must Censure Senator Kennedy
Dear Senator McConnell,
Senator Edward Kennedys recent conduct on the floor of the United States Senate has been far, far worse than merely conduct unbecoming a United States Senator, thus the Senate, to preserve its own integrity, must vote to censure Senator Kennedy.
If Senator Kennedys recent series of comments had been made off the floor, he would surely be guilty of defamation. The floor of the U.S. Senate is not a shielded perch from which to defame the President of the United States. More pertinently, it is disgraceful for a United States Senator to stand on the floor of the United States Senate and issue lie after lie after lie, defaming the President of the United States without a shred of relevant, competent evidence, and with no consequence. For this, Senator Kennedy deserves the strongest reprimand the United States Senate can issue against a member. Senator is making a mockery out of the Senate. Even Senator McCarthy was censured for far less.
To preserve the integrity of the United States Senate and the sanctity of its chambers, the Senate must act immediately to censure Senator Kennedy.
Sincerely,
YOUR NAME
YOUR ADDRESS

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. .....even from him. I appears he's fast losing whatever mind he had.If you spend your life inviting the devil into your heart, he will oblige. Teddy boy is gone.
Actually, I have more contempt for the ignorant dregs who have elected him over, and over, and over again. They are the enablers.

I agree. I'd help him farther out on the limb rather than try to stop him from being there. There's that old adage, "If you're stupid, don't wear a sign advertising it." In Teddy's case, he's been moved to increasingly advertise that fact that he's stupid/senile/drunk/a political hack/whatever. Let him wear the sign.

I was watching a PBS special a couple of nights ago about Churchill. I was struck by the similarities in the conduct of liberals then and now. The documentary pointed out that in the middle of the war, the liberal leaders complained that the war was not being conducted properly, that Churchill was not paying enough attention to home land matters. It was just plain old fashioned political posturing, just like the liberals are doing now.
At the end of the war the liberals (Labor Party) won largely on a continual assertion that Churchill had forgotten the economy caring only about credit for winning a war.
A few years later, and after England saw that liberals only talk about making things better, Churchill was again swept into office. But before he won that election, he had to overcome the "he will plunge us into war" rhetoric of the liberals. A year after returning to the position of Prime Minister, Chruch, in a speech, pointed out that a "year has past, and we are not plunged into war."

Thank for the post, addresses, content.
With Carl Levin (DCS)and Debbie Stabenow(DCS)representing the great state of Michigan there is not much hope for action but the email has been sent. These two enablers would have sued the car company for a faulty steering mechanism at Chappaquiddick.

I sent my letter to McConnell and also to my Texas Senators Cornyn and (holding nose) Hutchison ... I know that the 'RATS seem to get away with everything while the GOP must tow the line*, so I bet NOTHING will become of this, but at least I feel better venting my displeasure with Kennedy.
* For one example: KKK Byrd saying the 'N' word, while Trent Lott gets demoted for patting Senator Strom Thurmond on the back at his 100th birthday party.

All joking aside, I really think the man has some mental/medical problem. He's just been too over the top lately. Yeah, he's scum but he's gone too far even for him.
Lie, after lie, after lie IS all we heard about MaryJo.
