Polywog, which family? The parents are family. The husband is with the mother of his child and expecting another. As far as I am concerned, he has abandoned her, without prejudice. However, as with the "discrimination" cases, isn't he "de facto divorced"!

Thus, the parents are the family of consequence. Since the matter went before the judicial system that I pay for and no doubt public assisted funds for treatment, then I or WE have a right to say something. Also, we have a right to our opinions, worthless as they may be.

Since you don't have a clue about the facts in this case, then why do you feel the need to make uniformed comments about this case? Do you enjoy making things up to make a point?

Terri tries to speak. You can hear this on some of the videos on her website.

If you have not done so already, check those videos here, under the section titled AudioVisual Files. You will hear Terri trying to vocalize on some on them.

Be patient when you watch this video. It takes Terri maybe about 20 seconds to respond to a doctor's command. But she does!

Tell me, after watching this video, that Terri is not awake, aware, and desperately trying to show her will to live.

Hildy, it is my understanding that she has tried to say " Yes, and No"....and as far as speaking, our 25 year old disabled son has only been able to make sounds indicating what he wants. I can tell you that WE, as HIS PARENTS, know exactly what he wants when he makes the sounds.
