PLEASE ,PLEASE go to the website http://www.terrisfight.org and read the letters that have just been sent to Jeb Bush in regards to the Terri Schiavo case. JEB BUSH can LEGALLY STOP THIS. CALL his office, CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, CALL and email the media.THE CLOCK is ticking to save her life.

I don't think that anyone here is for Nazi tactics and I for one truly feel for the woman. But think about it, would you want to live like that. Trapped in a body that can't even speak, god forgive me I think I would rather die. I don't feel that wanting her to die is a Nazi act at all, I think she deserves the release from the broken body that she's trapped in. I don't say that to be heartless, I mean for it to be one of empathy because it's truly a heart wrenching matter.

Well, I have to disagree with you - she is not a veggie. She is disabled. My cousin has Ceral Palsy (sp) and she is in a wheel chair can barely communicate can't eat on her own or got to bathroom on her own. talking with her is very difficult and it took years for her to get to this level of communication (she's 39). But she's living and can work on a computer. She made my shower invitations on the computer at her school. She has the best quality of all humans.. she knows how to LOVE!
Guess what, I bet Terri knows how to LOVE and how do you know that if you when through some horrible accident that you wouldn't just become grateful to still see and hear things and to be able to live and dream and hope.

There is obviously a strength in Terri that most of us don't have or haven't had to tap into.. becareful what you wish for.. you could be Terri someday .. wishing that someone would intervene.

Yes, good point. Pondering how someone would make an "end of life/health" decision is one thing, pondering how someone would feel about their adulterous husband moving heaven and earth (or at least the State of Florida) to bring their life to an early end is fairly easy to guess.

Now, here is my question, I read the Thomas Moore opinion letter and it seems to me, based on what it says there, that this case should never have come to this pass. Unless the point is that the Governor must act in such cases, and wishes of other, non-executive, persons do not matter.

Let us see what Jeb does, the letter states that he solicited their advice, so I'm assuming he's prepared to follow it.
