Let me ask you a question, How would you feel if this was your child?

If she were in a comma or vegetate state I would say fine it is time to let her go. This is not the case! This is a state sanctioned murder through the judicial system.

1. It obvious the husband does not have her best interest at heart
2. The judge blocked the family from taking any more video's or pictures so that the truth could not get out.
3. They blocked her from any rehabilitation.
4. They are starving her to death, I doubt they will even offer any food water chips or anything else.

Please be advised: I spoke with a woman in the office of the govenor of Florida at 3:18 pm, and at the following phone number - 1 850-488-7146.

She was very courteous, did not hurry me, and stated that she could not answer yes or no when questioned as to whether Gov. Bush will intervene.

She did say the capital has been swamped with e-mails, telegrams, and phone calls.

I expressed my family's desire for intervention by Gov. Bush.

The woman said she would note that, and thanked me.

Thanks G.Mason. You really do raise some good questions. Bring them up again later, ok. I don't think we need new laws but there needs to be some kind of safety net for these situations. I hope Attorney Thompson has found one.

I'm a believer in the power of this web site.

Freeper power is indeed awesome....Many have experienced it in prayers for loved ones and getting answers to questions.

I persoanlly experienced Freeper power on the morning of 9/11/01 when asked for prayers for a NYC firefighter (at the specific request of his wife) ......His entire company survived that horrific day including their severely injured Commander.

Many are trying to save an innocent woman's life...why their trying to do that upsets you so...is beyond my comprehension

There has been at least one such contrarion on every Terri thread the past few days. Usually they cannot be bothered to go to Terri's website, view the video, read the legal documents, or avail themselves of the public domain evidence that would help them understand the facts of the case. Yet they will argue vociferously about people in comas, people on life support, rules of law, cost of medical care...all which are moot points in Terri's case...and demand responses to these questions.

I don't believe such people are deliberately malicious or hateful. I'd guess it's more a matter of intellectual laziness, or perhaps just a love of arguing for its own sake.

In my opinion, it wastes the time of the truly involved posters who are well informed about the history of Terri Schiavo.

Wrote this on another thread ( the thread that begins-prosecutor sends emergency letter....) as a report on my experience with the phone calls moments ago.

Everyone who truly cares-and you know who you are...CALL RON STUART, court rep, JUDGE GREER, a man put in place to defend the Judge's decision and relay comments. phone number- 1-727-453-7176 Call now. This man is pretty harsh...but insist he pass your conviction on, PLEASE CALL-EVERYONE. PLEASE.

Nick-I called the govenor's office at 850-488-7176 and spoke with a gracious woman who took my comments. I referred to the letter from the Thomas Moore center and let my heart out. She will relay the comments.

Then I called Attorney general Crist's office and again spoke with a very nice human being who will confer my message, my plea and conviction.

Then I called McCabe's office...the state attorney and got a convuluted, sent around the bean pole list of numbers to call-first to Tampa to a district court-then back to Clearwater to a probate person who ACTUALLY HAD THE NUMBER PLACED for comments on Terri---you cannot TALK to McCabe's office, at least that was my experience.

But I called the number, for the COURT REPRESENTATIVE of Greer's court who is taking comments.

His name is Ron Stuart, and he is a tough case to talk to....he is very defensive of Judge Greer, said the Judge was following the law, was ORDERED by a STATE APPEALS COURT to rule as he did, said the federal appeals court REFUSED to hear the matter, that is was a state issue only.

Ron is a older man, well versed in the law, and very unwilling to hear about the spirit of the law or about the fact that Terri's monster of a hsb DID NOT follow up on his intent to become a nurse, to even ATTEMPT to rehabilitate or test Terri's chances of improving with therapy.

This man kept saying this has gone on for TEN YEARS and Terri's parents lost. The end.

I reminded him that Terri's wishes WERE NOT in writing....he said that does not matter.

So we got again into the spirit of the law....and in the end, I simply said please convey my opinion to Judge Greer-that the Judge needs to reach down deep, and do the right thing. A woman is dying who is loved, wanted and has never really had the chance to determine if she is cabable of improving. That that is horrendous, and anti everything this nation stands for...imho. Teri has NOT had a real chance. (Because her executioner-her hsb.- DOES NOT LOVE HER!)

I hope someone far smarter than me, but who holds my passion for Terri, calls this man right away. He is there to do nothing but defend Judge Greer.

Interesting you should bring that up because it's been bugging me as well. In my past life, I took a contracts class and one of the NECESSARY and MANDATORY points made was that a contract is NOT LEGAL unless it is in writing.
