Hopefully her "husband" will not live long following her death. After spending 13 years at her comatos bed-side, don't you think it is time?
I truly believe the woman would want her husband and family to move on.
If I was laying their, that is what I would want.
How long would you allow the hospital and government to keep her body alive? 20 yrs? 40 yrs? 60 yrs?

Bed-side? Have you read any of the stories about this creep?
That aside, her family has offered to take care of her and he would not be burdened.

You obviously know nothing about this case or you would not have written that.

After spending 13 years at her comatos bed-side, don't you think it is time? I would laugh if this wasn't so sad. SHE IS NOT COMATOS!!!!! SHE IS NOT HOOKED UP TO VENTILATORS!
And he hasn't been by her bedside. He's already got a baby and another on the way with his new "wife".

She has a mind and it is trapped inside a body that doen't respond as you and I normal people. What if she loves to smell hear see feel those who come to her bedside to show their love. Could you off one of your children under these conditions. If the answer is yes, I pray for you as well.

NO, NO, NO!!!!! First she isn't COMATOSE! She hasn't been COMATOSE for 13 years. This woman WANTS to live!!!!!
When it is YOUR turn to lay there, we'll support what YOU want...Terri WANTS to LIVE!!!!!!! We MUST help her by helping the world see the truth.

No one is trying to feed her! Would you allow your dog to die that way? We can debate euthanasia later, but this is definately inhumane.

After spending 13 years at her comatos bed-side, don't you think it is time? You're joking, right?? Michael Schiavo doesn't waste his time at her bedside. She isn't comatose, BTW, in case you've just joined us here. She is conscious (or WAS before they sedated her, in any case).
Her parents want to take care of her, her "husband", who already has been shacked up for YEARS with the mother of his illegitimate children, wants her DEAD come hell or high water.
The husband and judge won't even let anybody TRY to feed her by mouth, they just want her to starve. Her parents WANT her, why can't they take care of her? She left no living will or advance directive, BTW.

Sigh...
I don't know why I bother responding to people who pop in here knowing zero facts and say things like this.
Terri is not comatose or PVS. She most likely would not be in the condition she is in if her husband had used the malpractice money that was awarded for her care and rehabilitation ON her care and rehabilitation, instead of his lawyer fees. Michael is quite welcome to move on with his life (actually, he has - with his girlfriend and two kids), but if he divorced her then he wouldn't get the rest of the money THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO FOR HER CARE AND REHABILITATION. Once he got the money, he did everything he could to prevent her from any sort of recovery, or even comfort. When she didn't die on her own, he suddenly remembered she had told him she didn't want to live with any sort of "artificial" support.

I hope that if I am EVER in a vegetative state for years on end, that someone will do the merciful thing & pull the plug.
To: TexasCajun
Why don't you get clue one about the case. Terri Schiavo is not unconscious or comatose. She's brain-damaged and most likely (if they ever bothered to figure out) can't swallow on her own, thus the need to have a tube inserted to feed her. Other than that, what's the difference between her and other severely retarded folks?
ARe you saying they aren't worthy of life? Why? And if she should die, why f-around? Take a gun and shoot her in the head. What's the difference?
To: TexasCajun
"After spending 13 years at her comatos bed-side, don't you think it is time?"There is at least one of you on every thread. For the hundredth time, Terri Chiavo is NOT "comatose". She is aware of her surroundings, follows commands and smiles when she sees her mother. There is video evidence of this. RECENT video evidence.
