Pray and pray some more, but don't forget to pray for those who oppose us, for those who hate us and hate life. Love those who hate you and pray for this Michael Schiavo. Remember, "Jane Roe" is now a Christian and pro-life and it wasn't hate or anger that saved her.

"All the major media says she's comatose"

That alone is enough to make the "story" suspect, wouldn't you think? The only thing that could make it moreso would be if the liberal talking heads started saying it as well.

Why don't you get clue one about the case. Terri Schiavo is not unconscious or comatose. She's brain-damaged and most likely (if they ever bothered to figure out) can't swallow on her own, thus the need to have a tube inserted to feed her. Other than that, what's the difference between her and other severely retarded folks?

ARe you saying they aren't worthy of life? Why? And if she should die, why f-around? Take a gun and shoot her in the head. What's the difference?

What's the difference?

It would be more humane?

I want the names of those who actually took the tube out. They are gutless evil people that need to be run out of any medical profession they are in.

Don't worry. Satan knows their names. He's rubbing his hands with glee waiting for the day when he can welcome his children home.

D@mn this makes me mad.

They know darned well she can feel pain, because of the attempt at physical therapy that had her crying for them to stop, which then prompted the bone scan to see what the problem was and found the old, broken bones. Heck, that seems like a successful communication attempt on Terri's part, too.

What do you call 13 yrs in a coma????

Too bad she isn't comatose. Again, get a clue before shooting your mouth off.

"The feeding tube keeping a severely brain-damaged woman alive was removed Wednesday ..." Nice piece of liberal bilge; makes it sound like food and water are extraordinary measures for life support, equal to a respiratory or an iron lung. The 'journalist' just can't help spilling out her bias, IMHO. I'm sick of this liberal mutagenicity!

She's not in a coma and the husband would not allow her to have any therapy. There was a good chance that she could have re-learned many things. Many people have come back from brain damage with good physical and mental therapy. This woman has been denied this help despite the fact that the husband received a settlement for his wife's care and the parents have asked to have custody of their daughter.

There are doctor reports that indicated she may have been a victim of foul play from the husband because of her wounds and x-rays at the time of her brain damage.

I hope they charge her husband with murder. Does anyone know what DA's office would be over this woman's case? I want him charged with murder if he succeeds in killing her. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence surrounding this case to indict him for murder.

Personally, if I was Schiavo's Dad, I'd be loading up the Glock and removing hubby from the equation.

Just saw a clip of her father on tv. He was choking back tears as he said that her mother can't even be with her now.

He said, How cruel can you get?

He seems to be a really kind mild-mannered man who doesn't know how to save his daughter at this point.

Apparently, to some of the ghouls out there (and in here, sadly), unless you can drive an SUV and watch Joe Millionare life just isn't worth living.

I wonder if these ghouls would pull the lever at the gas chambers to exterminate all seriously brain damaged people since it bothers them so much that these people even exist.

The family will be on OReilly, though he's not on, it's John Kasich.

This should be very informative.

My curiosity is getting the better of me so I want to ask this. IF a "group", say some ex military types, went in and "rescued" Terri, could they take her to Canada or somewhere and get her the therapy that she needs? What sort of extradition laws do we have with Canada? Would they apply to Terri? Come on and indulge me...anyone????

I'm afraid they're already doing what you describe, in certain ways. What about insurers who won't insure a person over a certain perfect (in their eyes) weight? Or insurers who make policies impossible for the elderly, or the chronically ill? The list goes on.

We have become health elitists. The craze of "perfect health" which is demonstrated by joggers, bike riders, gym denizens, etc. has swayed the insurers to set standards at THOSE levels. And the insurers are delighted.

"Fitness" is becoming God-like in the eye of insurers. And the elitists who are blessed with the body/health to fit the standard of "fit" are destroying the chances of any of us who just can't live up to those standards. And these "fit" elitists sneer down their noses at those of us who are unable to lose that extra 25 pounds, or jog that two miles a day, or ride in a bicycle marathon, or function at a gym. Think about it.

"The left's fascination with euthanasia seens to be more and more directed at solving the financial problems..."

Bingo. I think we have a winner. After all, the money they could save on supporting such individuals as Terri could go to defray the cost of murdering infants.

Going to work today I saw a big sign (more like a banner) across the front of a Planned Parenthood butcher shop....it said "Now Accepting Medicaid!"

Thanks, iowamom!

May 7, 2001 - Dr. Hammesfahr (neurology), filed a six page affidavit with the court stating Terri was not in a Persistent Vegetative State, accompanied by a formal letter requesting Schiavo’s permission to allow Terri to begin rehabilitation treatment...(snip)

June 1, 2001 - Attorneys Anderson and Eckert filed a court motion, which included five additional affidavits from physicians (neurologists) stating Terri was not in a "persistent vegetative state," as portrayed by Schiavo.

So at least six doctors have testified contradicting the description "persistant vegetative state". Then:

August 7, 2001 - Judge Greer ignored all the evidence presented to him and ordered to have Terri's feeding stopped on August 28, 2001. In his written court order, he admitted he did not read six of the seven doctor's affidavits.

"After spending 13 years at her comatos bed-side, don't you think it is time?"

There is at least one of you on every thread. For the hundredth time, Terri Chiavo is NOT "comatose". She is aware of her surroundings, follows commands and smiles when she sees her mother. There is video evidence of this. RECENT video evidence.

She's brain-damaged and most likely (if they ever bothered to figure out) can't swallow on her own...

However, she does have some ability to swallow her own saliva - she doesn't drool. The speech pathologist found that significant.
