So once they remove the tube, why can't her parents simply take her home, if the alternative is to let her die slowly??

Because then she might recover, and Greer, Felos, and husband Schiavo could be charged with attempted murder.

Here's Governor Bush's phone number, which I got from GailA. I already called this morning. I wonder if they're at the office at this time. If not, there's always tomorrow morning. Please everybody call.

Gov Bush's office 1-850-488-4441.

And they should be!

Yes, but as yet they've been able to prevent Terri from giving evidence against them.

I am certain that she will remain "guarded" until she takes her last breath. Wait, scratch that...she will be guarded until her remains can be cremated. There can't be any evidence whatsoever left behind you know.

The parents can't take her home because they might interfere with her death.

Death is the objective & it must be assured...........just as in abortion.

God help our country.

Hi folks,

Don't you just love this place? Are you becoming addicted to FR? I am a Freepaholic. I have to tune in every day. This is the best place on the planet to get unbiased news, and the best analysis, bar none. You know that. I know that.

Because of the free exchange of information, and high level analysis, this site is one of the top sites in the world. There are over 1 million threads here, for you to peruse. And your comments are seen by everyone, in every country.

Did you know this site was started by one determined, stubborn son-of-a-gun who is in a wheelchair? Do you know that to this day he is still in charge? Do you know that this place is funded entirely by donations? Nobody’s getting rich off this place. It’s 3 months at a time.

Some of the brightest people in the world come here daily, to learn, and read what YOU have written. People like Rush (bless him), Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, both Houses of Congress, their staffs, World leaders, and all freedom lovers come here.

In some countries, you could go to jail for posting here. For real. It's that powerful.

Communists in power HATE this site. They can't control the propaganda. Come to think of it, communists NOT in power hate it, too. So does the Democrat leadership.

Do you want this site to stay here? There is no membership fee. The fundraisers are to keep it going, 3 months at a time. Think about that. 3 months at a time.

China would love this place to fail. So would Chavez, Castro, the idiot running North Korea, Tom Daschle, and Hillary.

I know it sounds like such a little amount, but I am humbly asking you to consider donating just $3 a month. A dime a day. I know it sounds like nothing, but it is everything. It really is. Put it on a credit card, and that's that. The link is at the bottom of the main page, way, way down. You will join us freedom lovers who are committed to spreading the word, and letting people all over the world have a place they can get unbiased information. Your dime a day is 100 times more than the guy in China who is reading this can afford. And he will go to jail if he is caught reading this. Think about that.

I've been here since '97, and know how this site has changed the world. Become a permanent part of it. I am asking you, personally.

Please. Your pride will swell, and rightly so. It feels good.

That guy in China, wanting freedom, depends on YOU.

No, really, what legal justification do they have for not allowing her parents to take her home?? I understand there are evil forces at work here, but what is their stated legal reason for not allowing her to go home??

Judge Greer sez. What more reason do they need? I don't think there's any legal reason that would stand up in a trial court in light of the evidence. The problem is that appeals courts rely upon trial courts to supply any evidence that will be used in their decisions; what's happening here is that Greer is able to act as "gatekeeper" and prevent any evidence of Terri's cognition from being introduced into evidence.

All of that goes into the decision to withdraw the tube. Fine. Evil decision. Next question is What then prevents her parents from taking her home? What am I missing here? Has the judge specifically said she must stay at the hospital until she dies?

I still can't get over the fact that they declined to investigate her multiple injuries in from 12 years ago. Including a fractured pelvis. Her current mental state is apparently classic oxygen deprivation, i.e. suffocation. No wonder he wants her cremated. To cover up that he had a hand in her death. It just is taking longer than he wanted.

I guess since the husband is the legal guardian, he has the power to not allow her parents to take her home with them, even after the tube feeding is stopped. Her life isn't worth a whole lot to him while she's alive. I'm sure her parents would do anything and everything to care for their daughter. That probably doesn't sit well the hubby. Seems pretty obvious what end the husband wants. Her death, while married to him means $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in his pocket.

I wonder if her husband will have Terri cremated as soon as possible to cover up possible abuse?

It doesn't make sense that the judge, the lawyer and the husband are fighting to make sure she dies. Did Terri ever sign anything that states she wants to be taken off of support or is this just a story told by her husband? If this is based solely on what her husband says with no actual proof of Terri's wishes; this would probably be murder. After all the woman was only 26 years old when this happened and supposedly had a life time to change her mind; that is if she ever made such a statement.
