President Bush's overall job approval ratings have begun climbing back into the mid-50s as the U.S. economy continues to show increasing signs of recovery and growth.
Mr. Bush's job-approval score rose last week to 55 percent, five points higher than an earlier national survey conducted between Sept. 19-21, according to the Gallup Poll.

Well, the first thing is that the Bush administration finally decided to fight back at the liberal media and the democrats (But I repeat myself...) after the summer vacation. This is a similar pattern we have seen over the last 3 years.
However, there is also some truth to the Dean statement. I believe that many people will look at him and his stance on gay marraige and wanting to cut national defense and he will become Mondale II: The Sequel.
Haha! I can see the headlines now: 'Clark Announces Presidential Bid, Bush Poll Numbers Rise.' Leftists tend to have difficulty with simple causal relationships, maybe they can be confounded with that one!

Howard Dean says he's running for President, and on paper he's quite a candidate.
