Dick Posthumus needs your help on July 4th

Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus needs your help during the July 4th weekend, we are going to have supporters all over the state walking in parades on behalf of Dick Posthumus and we would love for you and your family to join us!

Please find enclosed a list of the parades that Dick Posthumus is going to have a presence in, please come to as many as you can!

We do need all volunteers to show up a half hour before the parade starts; t-shirts will be provided for all volunteers.

I think it's a Dutch name, and is fairly common in West Michigan.

Uh huh. No wonder he's in trouble. He sounds like an undertaker to people who hear his name for the first time. Couldn't the Michigan GOP find a candidate with a name that doesn't turn people off??

Posthumus is a great guy and will make a fine governor.

You sound like Mrs. Bowles in Fahrenheit 451 "No wonder the landslide was for Winston Noble. Even their names helped. Compare Winston Noble to Hubert Hoag for ten seconds and you can figure the results."

Have we gone so far that a good man is being judged on how his name sounds? If that is the criteria in California then it is no wonder you are in trouble.
