Rubio and DeSantis would be competent at the job, but I don't care for Rubio's neoconservative foreign policy and trade views, and he's inconsistent on immigration (the same applies to Haley) and something about DeSantis seems fake and rubs me the wrong way. Trump Jr's only qualification is being Donald Trump's son, while Kennedy is a crackpot.
I don’t see Don Jr. as VP or any elected office.
I never thought this was something he would want unless pushed into it.
Don Jr. is a good public speaker, and good at providing support for his Dad and other MAGA causes, but Don Jr. gives the impression that he would be more comfortable making wisecracks from the sidelines vs enduring the boring and thankless work of making policy.
This is not a putdown, Ivana Trump and The Donald brought up three very impressive adults, civilized, ambitious and diplomatic. However, Don Jr. seems to be a different sort of person vs a career politician. His top goals are more immediate and self focused than those of his father.
Gotta tell ya, I wouldn’t be unhappy with Vance, Rubio, or Desantis.
