Scott Presler: Republicans are completely squandering all of the work we did to win the 2024 elections

Democrats just flipped the Miami mayorship from 🟥🔜🟦.

The last time democrats won Miami was 1998.

Republicans are completely squandering all of the work we did to win the 2024 elections.

It’s especially frustrating as democrats are raising taxes in New Jersey & Pennsylvania.

Their base works their tails off and never stop - they never relax, no matter how much they win or lose. Their cause may be corrupt, decaying, and destructive, but they are dedicated to it. Would be nice if our base was the same.

"Republicans are completely squandering all of the work we did to win the 2024 elections"

Because too many Republicans in Congress are gutless cowards and/or traitorous RINOcrats.

That’s just a narrative with no foundation. Why promote it?

Why would anybody expect anything different?

I’ve been watching these Congressional jokers flounder around for 40 years.

It’s a complex problem where Congress critters have to balance, voter interests, donor interests, & ideological interests, while trying to get elected.
Republicans are also at a disadvantage because much of the establishment media is full of democrats who have no problem “digging for dirt” while protecting their own.

It isn’t like the vaunted red states don’t have urbanized areas, the education sector, an establishment media, etc.
They just have populations that are more naturally conservative no matter the disadvantage in institutional infrastructure.

No. Jasmine isn’t even the real frontrunner.

James Talarico the ‘progressive Christian’ is and he’s been doing a great job fundraising. Will link to his Joe Rogan clip below but feel free to look him and his numbers up.

Texas is in play because Cornyn is awful and Paxton cheated on his wife in the middle of putting the 10 Commandments in every public school classroom 🙄. And they can’t ride off the coattails of Trump being on the ballot the way Ted Cruz did.

And there are no legislative initiatives for reducing the government long term. No recission packages in congress. JD Vance a do nothing VP ain’t getting elected dogcatcher.

********************

I would love it.

However,

If you think things are bad now, just imagine a long-term solution that cuts spending. Then imagine trying to get elected with both voters & donors pissed at you.

The current economic system has expanded greatly with all the spending and will decrease a lot when the spending no longer exists.

As of Dec 2025, recent polls show the Democratic Party’s approval or favorability rating generally ranges from 34% to 41% among voters. This is near historic lows in some long-running polls.

A summary of recent poll findings:
<><>Harvard CAPS/Harris (Dec 2025): approval 41%, slight decrease from the previous month.
<><>Gallup (Oct 2025): The party had a 37% favorable rating among U.S. adults.
<><>RealClearPolling Average (Mid-Nov 2025): 34% favorableand a 56.9% unfavorable rating.
<><>WSJ (July 2025): a 33% favorable view of Democrats, the lowest in 35 years of their polling.

Across polls, Americans (typically over 50%) view the Democratic Party unfavorably.

In the 2022 U.S. midterms, Democrats defied historical trends—which usually see the president’s party lose significant ground—by retaining control of the Senate, narrowly losing the House, and winning several competitive governor’s races, marking a surprisingly strong performance that led to overconfidence going into 2024, which ultimately resulted in them losing all three branches of government.

That's fine. They'll think they'll double down. So they'll do that.

“I don’t think Trump is articulating a very good domestic agenda. Seems to be concerned with the leaders in Europe? People can’t buy a house or a car without 100 year mortgages and he calls it a hoax?”

From The Conservative Treehouse:

“Fast forward to today and most of the houses in my neighborhood just north of Seattle are being bought up by tech families who work for Microsoft or Amazon....they are able to pay cash for their homes and drive up the prices so high that my American born children cannot afford even a starter house in the town where they were raised!”

Did you read the piece?

What "piece" is that? It's just a tweet.

And I'll repeat the point I made above, which a lot of people seem to want to ignore. There were enough Trump supporting Republicans for Trump to win the 2024 election. That is an inarguable fact.

It is equally inarguable that the Republicans would have won every single one of these off-peak elections if the people who voted for Trump in 2024 came out to vote for these other Republicans. There were more than enough people who voted for Trump in 2024 to win all of these elections.

So, I cannot fathom how this is part of some anti-Trump GOP plot when 2024 already proved that there were more than enough Trump supporters to win anyway, despite the efforts of anti-Trump Republicans.

These elections are being lost because people who voted for Trump are too damn lazy to get off their butts and go vote in the polls to elect Republicans who will help Trump's agenda. So instead, virulently anti-Trump Democrats are winning these elections because of the Trump supporters who stayed home.

That's just basic math.

Of course they are Scott, and they’ll keep squandering it until we completely replace the Mark Greene, Michael Steele type of phony republicans with MAGA republicans. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Don’t give up. There’s millions of us.

Trump should stay the hell home.

Several Democrats have won key elections around the times of Donald Trump’s visits to Israel raising questions as to Netanyahu’s reasons for meeting w/ Trump....... during periods when U.S. policy toward Israel was a major topic of national discussion:

Tom Suozzi won a special election for New York’s 3rd Congressional District on February 13, 2024. This election occurred during a period when the ongoing conflict and U.S. foreign policy regarding support for Israel-——and Netanyahu’s desperate need for support-——were prominent issues.

Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill both won gubernatorial races in the Nov 2025 elections.

Spanberger became the first woman elected Governor of Virginia.

Sherrill won the New Jersey governor’s race.

These victories were seen by some analysts as potential referendums on Donald Trump’s influence on the 2026 midterms.

It is important to note that Donald Trump has made several visits to Israel, primarily during his first term as President (May 2017) and most recently in late 2025.

The election results mentioned above occurred around
the time of the more recent events in 2024 and 2025.

Trump voters are not voting for other Republican candidates, because...

A huge chunk of them are "former' Democrats. Good people, for the most part, just not really down with the smaller government, less taxes mindset. Tariffs are a tax, remember.
