More farm subsidies, more “from each according to their ability, to each farmer according to their need”.....

I’m done with the free money and the gibsmedats. Shut the spigots off. No more federal teet!

We have officially run out of other people’s money.

Soybeans are a commodity. If China buys another country’s soybeans, that country’s prior customers will buy ours.

It’s rearranging the same stuff, worldwide.

9 years:

Tom Cotton has been in the Senate since January 6, 2015, making him a senator for a total of over 9 years as of February 22, 2025.

He was elected to the Senate in 2014 and has served as the junior United States senator from Arkansas.

No, Tom, the invading illegal immigrants, not farmers, are the ones who need those billions. You and the wimp GOP have let the Americans die on the vine.

Our schoolkids are illiterate feral criminals.

The Rats and their offspring run rampant every night in American cities.

The Communists are in ascendancy.

You all basically sat there and watched while the nation was invaded and taken over during Joe Braindead's presidency.

Congratulations on your nine years in the Senate. We are very proud of you.

Well ... starting tariff wars and blowing up export markets has a cost. Trump is rightly concerned with the trade deficit. But U.S. agriculture has always been a major exporter and it is catching a lot of the retaliation.

Maybe we produce more than we need to, and that over production reduces the price????

Farmers have been going bankrupt since, well , forever.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

We need to get them off the monoculture, poison treadmill—instead of furthering it.

Lots of Americans go bankrupt every day. Why single out farmers for free money?

Farmers are a huge employer of illegal and wage killing migrant workers. As such this is a big who cares?

“But just as importantly, they must be able to continue growing, harvesting and operating for generations to come.” That’s the problem Tom, they don’t want to.

Bankruptcy resets prices and makes opportunity for lower production costs.
