He is the present of politics. A Republican version of Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. Always ready with an answer tailor made for the audience. Not one substantive personal belief.
His past votes and support of people don’t match his words…. Then there’s the Soros connection. The left think the right is dumb enough not to notice.
It doesn’t take much to figure out that a political party with a voter base that’s 80% MAGA would support the MAGA candidate, as is the case with Trump, and would support the MAGA-lite candidate as a backup, as is the case with Vivek.
Particularly when all of the other candidates literally HATE MAGA voters, something we used to see here when DeSantis still had some credibility.
I wouldn’t trust this little bast_ _d any farther than I could throw a freight train. He reminds me of Ovomit, “Hurrah for me and the hell with you.”
“he turned to former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, a hawk, and said, ‘Nikki, I wish you well on your future career on the boards of Lockheed and Raytheon,’ a rebuke so impolite and so close to home that Haley was left red-faced and sputtering”
Media creating an Obama-like star. Total BS.
This thread is a dupe. Plenty of discussion already on the other one:

I tend to favor track record, personal history and motivation more than mere words. We have been lied to too often.
I agree with the article completely
The writer says a few marginally positive things about Vivek because he is attacking all the other Republican candidates in the "debate" so effectively.
What I conclude that the writer really wishes for is a young, attractive, wealthy Leftist candidate who will do the same thing. Attack Republican candidates effectively.
Biden is not that guy. Neither is Harris. Neither is JFK Jr. But the "future of politics" will surely belong to some younger, hungrier, and more aggressive man.
It is not a bad prediction, since that is always how things have worked since ages past. Our current gerontocracy is rather far from normal. Effective political and economic power normally vests in men aged 40-65.
If you like Soros Ramaswamy is your guy he’s on the pay roll for some time now.
Then everything old is new again.
He’s Deep State.
About the WEF issue: For two years Ramaswamy badgered the WEF to remove his name from their list of “Young Global Leaders.” He finally sued them for slander and they removed him. Same thing happened to Tulsi Gabbard. She demanded they remove her name and foto and they finally complied. It seems the WEF lays claim to any halfway attractive young-ish person of note . . . until they complain loudly enough.
FR now takes advice fro MSM?
It ain’t gonna happen. He’s a charlatan.
It’s interesting the take on the new republicanism of insults and in your face comments. Democrats trash republicans constantly with that crap and nobody seems to care. But let a republican sound a little ungenteel or coarse and it’s the end of traditional politics. That is one of the things I’ve always liked about Trump. He doesn’t back down. Does he overdo it with the mean tweets sometimes, yes. But at least he doesn’t grovel at the media and democrat’s feet.
He’s got no ‘future’ in my book insofar as a potential vote from me for any office. IMO, he’s a plant - a leftist Manchurian Candidate. I don’t care what he’s preaching now and how good it sounds.
Vivek is a radical leftist. We are witnessing the funeral procession of the old Republican Party.
Egomaniac demagogues with no principles? No thanks.
The problem is the voters who want this and think that each new ranting politician is going to be their savior.
I think Obama started this, with the encouragement of the Democratic Party, which realized that building a cult of personality around him was the way to go.
But politicians are not saviors. I just want to know their policies and if I think they are capable of carrying them out. I’m not looking for a Great Leader to worship, but evidently a lot of other Americans are.
