Smoke won’t stop radar either.

It all depends on what's in the smoke, obviously:

Even our own Navy was still experimenting with new types of obscurants to deploy against anti-ship missiles in 2014:

Navy Tests New Radar-absorbing Obscurant

Navy’s carbon-fiber clouds could make incoming missiles miss their target

Do you have certitude as to what obscurants were in the smoke clouds utilized in the test on the Kerch Bridge? (Because I'm fairly certain you don't.)

Right. It doesn’t do anything to stymie radar. You need chaff to do that and it doesn’t hang in the air very long.

And this is how you showcase that you didn't actually read and absorb what I posted.

Stop shooting from the hip.

(And as I said, this sounds like a claim that you know with certitude what was in those smoke clouds. Care to share? Or are you just going to default to "dur those Russians are too stupid to know how to counter technology that's literally decades old"?)

The smoke won’t stop GPS, radar, plain old ordnance, inertially guided weapons, or magnetically guided weapons.

IR can be affected but IR is usually just one system on modern weaponry. Mostly the smoke is kabuki theater to make the plebes feel safe using that bridge.

Which will soon be destroyed anyway.

And again, that all depends on what's in the smoke as far as radar-guided munitions goes. (Presumably, SAM capabilities would be utilized for the others if needed.) That's notwithstanding the fact that depending on the particle composition and the obscurants used, a smokescreen can be an effective low-tech countermeasure against high-tech threats.

Mostly the smoke is kabuki theater to make the plebes feel safe using that bridge.

I'll ask again: do you know what aerosols comprised the smokescreen that was tested, yes or no?

Because you're speaking with certitude you can't possibly possess.

(This is not even getting into the likely possibility that it was a test of the dispersal system alone, without utilizing any of the actual obscurants that would be particularly useful for diverting missiles from their target.)

Which will soon be destroyed anyway.

Ukraine has talked about doing so for months, yet haven't done so...because Alexey Danilov of Ukraine admitted all the way back in April that if they could have, they already would have destroyed it.

Biden has created some new billionaire oligarchs with that.

Not to forget the huge sales for boeing, raytheon and other MIC contractors. If the invoices are actually being paid the they are flush with cash, To be sure the kickbacks are enormous for bidet and the congresscritters.

Sending aid with no accountability. Corrupt and stupid is no way to go through life.

I have certitude in some topics, not so much in others.

The US Navy about a decade ago played with smoke/fog/obscurant and it didn’t work. I imagine your Russian friends stole the tech and I’m certain it won’t work for them either.

You’re right. The offshore accounts are bulging with money.

The Sec. Def. retired from the Army and immediately went to work for Raytheon. Then Biden nominated him for Sec. Def. He’s a wealthy man today.

The use of smoke screens and obscurants had been a tactical focus by the Russian military for literal decades, so it's not like it's new.

(I also don't have any friends who are also Russian, but thanks for your concern.)

Sending aid with no accountability.

You can bet the only 'accountability' happening is the calculating and delivering of the big guys cut.

Russian troops in Donbass are pulling back into Russia.

Did Biden send you a secret dispatch letting you know?

Troop rotation apparently.

A dozen more HIMARS launchers will be there shortly.

ATACMS was just approved and should be there within a month or two. In a week if they use GE stocks. It’s just an ammo loadout/selection for the HIMARS fire control. It’s fully integrated into TTPs so the UKRs are already trained.

With the ATACMS the UKRs can hit Moscow -also with 1m accuracy. But someone has to show restraint. Basically, a ground launched Kalibr with higher speed and accuracy, with similar HE warhead. The higher speed gives it better penetrating ability tho. Deep bunker buster.

99 and 44/100ths of the dollars sent to Ukraine end up in Democrat bank accounts.

Once the new House is sworn in can we basically stop all aid to the Ukraine?
