This may come as a big surprise to you, but most northeasterners don’t have anything against southerners. For more than a decade, I talked with people all over the country all day long at my job for a company in a northeastern city. Many of the southerners had something negative to say about “Yankees.” I happened to be a good sport, so I took it all in stride. Also, a few times, I heard midwesterners trash NYers, and once an irate Californian trashed my accent. But, I never heard a northeasterner say anything negative about southerners, etc. I never heard my coworkers say anything negative about southerners, either. I’m not saying it never happens. Just saying I’ve rarely heard it. At that time, in the NE, we trashed each other based on what neighborhood we lived in or what ethnic group we belonged to. We didn’t even think about the rest of the country, but they sure thought a lot about us.
Or somebody could have just hacked his account.
Do you really think that if he had a ‘burner phone’ he’d log into any of his previous accounts?
It was a sarcastic comment aimed at the one here (not you) posting all the weird hate at anyone from the North...
Friends found this report odd stating neither was a drinker.
I believe that you think he's smarter than he actually is.
And I don't believe a hacker would be sitting in a small green boat hacking accounts on their phone.
I believe that you think that social media accounts are a lot more secure than they really are.
Why would a hacker have to be in a boat?
Hacking any social media account could probably be done from anywhere in the world, and any sort of video could be inserted.
I saw somewhere - maybe it was here - that a ‘Damn Yankee’ was someone who came South and stayed; and a ‘Yankee’ was a tourist - or maybe it was vice-versa.
(I wonder if the ‘Beachy’ Amish who frequent Florida are considered ‘Yankees’ or ‘Damn Yankees’.....:-)

I’m pretty sure anything can be hacked, and anything can be faked -
but I’m glad that you are so confident in your assumptions of digital ‘security’.

I saw the video. And if you think that something like that can’t be done by someone hacking into an account, I suggest that you stay away from social media if you really want to keep yourself safe.
(And I think only cowards say ‘don’t post to me again’.)
