On Monday morning, a man splashed red paint over the Black Lives Matter mural painted on the street in front of Trump Tower in Manhattan on Fifth Avenue, the same mural that Mayor Bill de Blasio helped paint last Thursday as he yelled, “We are saying Black Lives Matter in New York City and Black Lives Matter in the United States of America! Let’s show Donald Trump what he does not understand; let’s paint it right in front of his building for him!”With shootings soaring in his city and the growing cries for defunding the police affecting the city, de Blasio made sure his list of priorities included making sure that the paint was removed from the mural as soon as possible, sending out a group of workers as he tweeted, “To whoever vandalized our mural on 5thAvenue: nice try. @NYC_DOT has already fixed it. The #BlackLivesMatter movement is more than words, and it can’t be undone.”

we should stop calling these things MURALS, they are nothing more than stenciled graffiti. Calling Black Lies Matter stenciled on a street a mural is like calling a hopscotch diagram a mural. Actually, a hopscotch diagram comes closer to the definition of

I am one of the least computer savvy posters on FR at this time. However, even I can imagine a few well monitored flying drones being put to work over De Blasio’s ‘Mural’.
All one need do is have a flying swarm of drones visit the area, each drone holding a balloon pre-filled with paint.

I once saw a rig for painting images onto streets that was attached beneath a car.
Had a long rod the width of the car and many nozzles that would spray the white paint out onto the road forming an image.
Would be fun to use such a setup to slowly drive about in Manhattan in the middle of the night painting hundreds of “messages” onto the streets.

You can bet your bippy that they will have cameras and security people watching that place, they will come after anyone who touches that 'mural' again like they were a serial killer.
Meanwhile, serial killers should consider NYC ripe for the picking. Nobody seems to care who you kill there anymore.
Like on the subway cars, buses and rail cars transiting this abominable region of what was once America.
