The one single consideration the author is concerned about is that this action takes away something his side was hoping to use against Trump, no more, no less. Not one of my liberal friends could find Syria on a map but all of a sudden they simultaneously began showing great concern for how pulling out was reckless and that the lives of our service people were counters in a political game. “You want war?” I ask them and they give me the “Uh, er, well, you know, Orange Man bad” dance.
