A fundraising effort launched by the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party in Minnesota on Monday appears to betray some fears that the state could flip red in next year's presidential elections.
A series of tweets by the Minnesota DFL saw it admit that the "Trump campaign is staffing up in Minnesota in ways weve never seen before, and frankly we just cant keep up."
"Trump and the GOP already have over two dozen staffers on the ground, and are promising more, and they have already trained over 600 volunteers in Minnesota!" it added.

OMG!
In my 30 years living in MN, I never ever heard this.
Even during Reagan’s 2nd term.
They must be in real trouble in MN
I think they see people are tired of somalia takeover in the twin cities. as well they should be. should have never been zllowed to occur or keep occurring.
The recent crime wave in both Minneapolis and St. Paul is getting a lot of attention in the state.
The Democrats are to blame—the state is definitely in play for 2020.
Omar will save them! Don’t you worry. Get her skanky face out there. That’ll work.
Lots of Minnesotans own guns. Hunting of all kinds has a very strong tradition here. Add to that the State Democrats are every bit as corrupt, and bat crap crazy, as the DC sort, it might happen.
However MN GOP would have to over come a very deeply entrenched Democrat political machine that make Chicago look like amateur hour when it come stealing elections.
I wouldn’t read too much into fundraising tweets. I receive similarly panicky emails from the Texas Republican Party and various campaigns warning that the Democrats are going to turn Texas blue if I don’t fork over money.
The anti-gun message, the BLM closing highways and the Somali takeover are all part of a message your average MN voter doesn’t like.
They like the warm fuzzy that Bill Clinton brought to the table.
Frankly many MN voters in 2016 didn’t like Trump’s abrupt message but after three years they see he means what he says.
This is the key to winning MN and WI.
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
Des Moines was getting that way when I left in 2001. Also Bosnians.
When you no longer have FARM and LABOR, it makes it hard to win with just somalians.
Offer them No Quarter, Mr. President. Grind the opposition into political dust in all 50 (or 57) states.
I’d say go for California too. We will never outvote the motor voter illegal aliens, but at least we can overcome the “popular” vote (”popular vote meaning LA, San Francisco, and New York City)
Where I come from, DFL = Dead Frigging Last

well, that’s the kind of thing that can happen when Trump’s supporters get totally outraged with the “Democrat and DeepState Get-Trump Three Ring Circus” and retaliate by throwing a couple hundred million extra dollars Trump’s way in three weeks ...
It might not take the state GOP.
It might be a side effect of U.S. Marshals monitoring the vote count and ballot custody.
Wait til they see him tied in nee jersey that is going to be fun i thhink maybe he jits 400 electorial votes
bummer.
If you think about it, both parties have drastically changed! Trump enlarged the GOP to include Black Americans, Hispanics, working folks. The Dem Party had no where to go but left, left, and Left. Trump has ruined the Dim Party. Ruined them!
It is time for the Dim Party to find a home.
BTW, the reason why the violent crime rate is down is because people who were frustrated have found jobs and jobs. Train them and they get good paying jobs. Must have been Trumps plan all along.
Did they mean to say confirm instead of betray?
I ask because the rest of what you posted sounds like their fears may be justified, not betrayed.
