A fundraising effort launched by the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party in Minnesota on Monday appears to betray some fears that the state could flip red in next year's presidential elections.

A series of tweets by the Minnesota DFL saw it admit that the "Trump campaign is staffing up in Minnesota in ways we’ve never seen before, and frankly we just can’t keep up."

"Trump and the GOP already have over two dozen staffers on the ground, and are promising more, and they have already trained over 600 volunteers in Minnesota!" it added.

Many here probably don’t know that the Democrats in MN are actually DFL (Democrat Farmer Labor), which occurred iin 1944 with the merger of the Democrat and Farmer-Labor Partys.

MN has a long history of socialism of borderline Communist tendencies.

It was close last time, and he put minimal effort into it. It could be in play.

Dems lost the Arrowhead region: Trump brought employment.
The difference in the North Shore between the Omoeba Administration and now, is night and day.

“Betrayed” == “they’re so flustered they’re admitting their fears in public”

On election night 2016, I was looking over some of the remaining "open" counties numbers coming in and Trump, when I last looked before calling it a night, was only behind her-thighness by 30k votes overall in Minnesota..

...not sure what the final tally ended up being when it was all said and done.

I've been wondering if Trump would at least try to win Minnesota in 2020. Looks like my wishful thinking in 2016 might have a chance to see a Red Minnesota. Nothing would put a bigger grin on my face than this.

Here's to hope and a good ground game in 2020.

In desperation, the DFL will go over the top batshit crazy to the point of far outdoing the Wellstone funerally that it could be a Republican blowout. Only the Hard Left precincts would go to the Donk.
