Pretty half-baked arguments from Goldberg that seem to boil down to:
1. Biden being attacked by Trump is a boon in terms of attention and fundraising.
2. Biden being attacked attacked by Trump will create a sort of immunity to attacks from his rivals. The other Dem candidates have to adopt a “leave Joe alone” pose, else they’ll be seen as agreeing with Trump.
There’s some tiny kernel of truth to these points, I guess, but it’s pretty weak tea. Seriously doubt that it’ll be enough to push decrepit, rum-dumb ol’ Joe to the finish line.
