Several Democratic National Committee members have a message to their organization’s top leadership: President Trump is crushing us.
After pledging to compete everywhere ahead of the next election, multiple DNC members told The Daily Beast they have privately sounded alarms about the organization’s strategy heading into 2020, emphasizing what they view as Chairman Tom Perez’s inability to reach swing voters in Midwestern battleground states who voted for the president. A handful of Midwestern targets were critical to Trump’s general election success in 2016.
Jim Zogby, who co-chairs the DNC’s ethnic counsel, a group that represents people across different ethnic, racial, national origin, and religious identities, says he has been pushing Perez and other party leaders to expand its outreach to voters in the same areas that Trump successfully captured: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and—a Democratic sore spot in post-2016 politics—Wisconsin.
But that outreach to the committee has fallen on deaf ears.

It's deliberate. The Dems in charge have bought into the identity politics "we can win without the white working class by building a coalition of the oppressed" meme with the faith of small children, and the pros among them are tearing their hair out. For example:
“We’re not only building the bench of organizers of communities of color in the Milwaukee area... Anyone who thinks that Democrats aren’t fighting for voters in Wisconsin of every color and creed isn’t paying attention.”
But it's the ones who are paying attention who are raising the alarm. Deplorables and bitter clingers have literally become non-people in the eyes of the activists. Veering suddenly from the "White Privilege, Racism, White Supremacy" refrain of the last decade or so into something more inclusive isn't going to fool many, not at this point. Nor is this little gem:
we're making historic early investments, working every day to hold Trump accountable for his broken promises...
Does anyone need to be reminded of the stridently obstructionist nature of the Dems over the last three years? Blaming the other guy for a problem you created isn't going to work when your media buddies have been trumpeting every obstruction as a mighty victory. In the case of illegal immigration especially this amounts to "Hooray, we've stuck it to the working class again!" And "the economy is great, so now we can afford to raise taxes and lavish money on environmental and healthcare programs" is going to be a tough sell for the same reason. The utter silence on foreign policy except for the Gang Of Four beating up on Israel speaks for itself. The party simply isn't prepared for an election.
Yes they are if you add all their results in to one Dem total.

The reasons the dems can't figure out why they are losing.
It’s almost as if the man spent a lifetime crafting a set of skills to be POTUS and they weren’t skills anybody else even thought about learning.

Let the DNC reap the bitter fruit of the Affirmative Action hiring of woefully inadequate “people of color.” They richly deserve it for pushing identity politics on the nation.
