The headline-grabbing Democratic infighting between Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the high-profile progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), D-New York, must be bringing joy to President Donald Trump and the GOP.
After all, a divided Democratic party would be a great boon to Trump's 2020 reelection bid. And clearly Trump wants to fan the flames of that divide, as we saw with his racist tweets Sunday morning, in which he wrote that he wanted AOC and her closest allies in the House -- Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, and Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Massachusetts, who are black, and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Michigan, who is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants -- to go back to their own countries, and that he was sure Speaker Pelosi would be "happy" to work out arrangements for their travel. (Pelosi slammed Trump in response for his racist tweets.)
But what I witnessed this past week at the annual Netroots convention in Philadelphia tells a far different tale about what's going on with rank-and-file progressives -- and it should deeply worry Trump and his supporters who were hoping for a divided Democratic Party come 2020.

The article says, in effect, “Ignore the curtain, let alone the man behind it. You see NOTHING! WE SEE NOTHING! EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL!!!”

What the author doesn’t get is that it isn’t about how ‘cohesive’ the Democrats are. It’s about what they stand for and the policies they’re pushing. They are radically left, and often openly anti-American. That’s not going to play well.

This show of bravado from CNN, protecting a precious little spurting jet of sulfur and molten lava, is like the last agonized shrieks of a dying creature that huddled over that volcanic vent.
While that world view will persist with others, CNN continues to diminish day to day, no longer able to grasp the popular imagination of the many, and the True Believers are in no position to revive this writhing mass of what have come to be great contradictions with reality.
Alternate universes are hard to keep maintained.

Like 98% of us don’t vote repub even if the repub doesn’t impress us. Unlike with the dems, we know voting for some repub isn’t going to result in one race being hunted down and killed.

The first one to bring up race is the racist.
CNN now is only good for comic relief. I think half of their listeners - those that are left - are conservatives watching for the sole reason of seeing what lunacy will they present today that we can make fun of.
I’m serious. Go to youtube and check out Fox videos and look at the comments. Then go to CNN videos and look at the comments. They are both rife with conservative comments, with the ones on CNN mocking them. Sure, there are a few people saying they love Don Lemon(e), but they get inundated with conservatives that make actual points.
The libs may own the MSM, but conservatives own the internet, and the internet is becoming the new “MSM”. It is because we can respond to stories. They all get vetted, and the REAL truth percolates to the top.
Donald Trump is a hater. He hates puppets. People who don’t love America. They don’t even like America. And they don’t represent their own districts. They are just puppets that are given words, money and actions from people who stay out of the light.
