Why does he hate Trump so much?
While I doubt it, I will ask. Is this anyway a principled stance he is taking?
he says that Trump committed impeachable offenses, but will not say what they are.
“This behavior is such a massive break from how he used to be, and so without reasonable explanation, that I have come to suspect something along the lines of a secret video with Amash and minor children in various states of undress could be a part of the equation.”
Or maybe receiving money from some people to bash Trump.
A principled stance would be resigning and then run as a democrat.
DING DING DING.
We had 20 replies before you hit the nail on the head.
It is ALL about the Ben-joe-mans.
BS. There is nothing to respect about a Judas like Amash. Good riddance to bad trash.
Amash the Palestinian is anything but conservative.
We had it until “Keynesian conservative” Nixon threw it away. Nobody died en masse without our utterly unsustainable fiat-currency-backed welfare state. And yes, we had “an economy the size of America” back then.
He understands that just fine. His rhetoric comes straight out of the left’s playbook.
Republican Justin Amash Calls for Impeachment While Holding Personal Business Interests in China
^^^ This ^^^
He’s a Never Trumper globalist traitor.
He can’t win under the Republican party now. This is a natural outcome.
I had thought someone pointed out he has large interests in China that are being hurt by Trump’s tariffs.
I think he’s an adherent to the free trade religion. I doubt he cares about anything else.
So Meijer is a Democrat running as a Republican?
(thegreenpapers.com)
And Amash is running as an Independent?
Dang, if Amash siphons off 12-22% (His 2018 and 2016 margins of victory), the seat could go to the Dems.
How so? Amash has always been vehemently anti-Trump since Day 1 of his campaign and has always been an Israel-hating, Ron Paul loving kook. His voting record and positions haven't changed at all since he first got elected to Congress.
Perhaps you are confusing his actions with his "I'm a pro-liberty, pro-freedom, pro-Constitution Tea Party Patriot" campaign act, which was meaningless rhetoric he used to get elected in a safe GOP district.
