I think there is a hidden Trump vote out there.
The liberals and radical types make the most noise, but there are many who quietly support the president.
Nixon talked of the “silent majority” and that concept still applies today, in my opinion.
As far as Trump’s re-election chances, you have to consider that the 2020 campaign will be very different from 2016. In that, in 2016, Trump was a political newcomer. In 2020, President Trump will be running for re-election on a record of some considerable achievements. There is no way that any who voted for Trump in 2016 would not vote to re-elect him in 2020. On the other hand, some who sat out in 2016 or voted for someone else, will be motivated to vote for Trump because of his achievements.
The Dems haven’t anyone come forward that is worth voting for.

Similarly when there is no election until 2020, who will ever know if polls taken now were accurate.
For example, Trump vs multiple Democrats. He’s never going to face more than one of them, we’ll never know about the rest.
I can believe people think Biden is a safe choice until they learn more, but electing communist Bernie by a wide margin? Electing Kamala Harris or mayor Pete? That I don’t believe.

Trump voters are one thing, but the number of people who went with out a taxable income for nearly a decade aren’t interested it paying higher income taxes now that they have a job..
Just keeping the dems moving to the left and unemployment low will get Trump re-elected.
The only thing that could draw more votes to Trump would be a solid delivery on immigration. Especially, if it reshapes the census and shaves some electorial votes from a few over represented states.....
