Former Vice President Joe Biden will head to Philadelphia Saturday, for the third and final phase of his presidential campaign rollout -- making his pitch to unite the country.
Biden will hold his first campaign rally in Eakin’s Oval near the famous "Rocky steps" of the Philadelphia Art Museum Saturday afternoon.
The rally, which was announced the same day Biden officially entered the race in April, will focus on his vision “for unifying America with respected leadership on the world stage -- and dignified leadership at home,” according to a press release from the campaign.
The event is seen as an unofficial bookend to the campaign launch.
An excerpt of the speech released by the campaign Saturday morning previews Biden's pitch on unity. Biden will argue that while some Democrats argue for using anger to chart a path toward victory against President Trump in 2020, Biden will provide "a different path" for members of all political parties, rather than the divisive leadership of the current president.
"Some say Democrats don’t want to hear about unity, that they are angry -- and the angrier you are, the better. That’s what they are saying to have to do to win the Democratic nomination. Well, I don’t believe it. I believe Democrats want to unify this nation. That’s what we’ve always been about. Unity," the excerpt says.

Key point: He’s telling the graduates to focus on “uniting the country” by more diversity (I didn’t say it made sense).
He’s said “unite the country” three times.
Obviously, the orders have gone out. It’s going to be Biden, and you’re going to hear “unite the country” ten million times from everyone with a platform until you can’t stand it any more.

This whole Biden phenomenon is based on opinion polls that are absolutely worthless.
Everyone should know by now that these are push polls, statistically challenged, set up by agenda driven media profiteers to achieve a desired result, and then reported on dishonestly.
But even if they were impartially worded, statistically sampled, scientifically constructed and honestly reported, they would still be meaningless, because voters have absolutely no idea how they are going to vote at this point. They don’t even know what their choices will be yet.
If it wasn’t for the MSM choir members in their echo chamber all showing identical polls with Biden with an insurmountable lead, would anyone believe the old fart had a snowball’s chance in hell of being elected President? No.
The fact that there is an apparent consensus in the MSM shouldn’t impress anyone either. They always report cookie cutter news. They either call each other up and agree on the narrative de jour, or they receive a call from their DNC handlers instructing them on what to say, usually down to the exact words and phrases.
Unless the Democrats can find another Obama, who truly sends a thrill up their collective leg, these 25-or-so Democrat contenders are going to eat each other alive. By setting up Joe Biden as the clear front runner this early, all that the DNC is ensuring is that he will be the first meal to be devoured by the rest of the Democrat cannibals. The meat will be tough and freezer burned, but if they slow cook it long enough it will fall off the bone.
Eakin’s Oval is apparently a plaza.
Hopefully, there will be a minuscule turnout, made up of mostly captive union members from around the area.
