I agree with you that they are going to pretend to some loftier ideal - at least in their rhetoric (contrasting themselves to the Orange Man Bad), but I believe that it will be not be channeled through Bidet (who even the left see as a bumbling idiot) but through Mooshie Øbama who has been waiting in the wings for just the right moment to emerge and save the day.
She satisfies all three of the lefts prerequisites for suitable Dhimmicrat candidate: not white, female, and straight. Plus she would return us to the "golden" years of the Øbama regime.
