In an appearance on FNC's "MediaBuzz," pollster Frank Luntz shares his finding that the term "capitalism" no longer polls well with the American people and predicts that Senator Bernie Sanders is the most likely to win the Democratic nomination for president with a message of democratic socialism.
"It is not that principles are dead, in fact, the principles of economic freedom are alive and well," Luntz explained. "But capitalism itself has been so demonized by media that... if you want to oppose socialism you oppose it by talking about freedom, not capitalism."
HOWARD KURTZ, FOX NEWS: An exclusive first look at a poll about socialism versus capitalism. It turns out the ideas pushed by Democrats such as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have lots of support in their party, while capitalism isn't polling so well.Frank Luntz found in an online survey of 1,000 people that 52% of Hillary Clinton voters agree with the statement "I prefer living in a socialist country to a capitalist one," against just 16% of Donald Trump voters. Asked about the AOC proposal to impose a 70% tax on the top 1% of taxpayers, 79% Clinton voters agree, and so do 46% of Trump voters. And veteran Republican pollster Frank Luntz joins us now. Before we get to more numbers, is the media kind of soft on socialism? I mean favorable press to Democrats like Bernie Sanders and AOC, being tough on flaws of capitalism, the excesses of big corporations.

:^) You say that as if you think the Demagogic Party gives a **** about women, feminism, or anything other than its pursuit of power.
That would be a killer combo for the Demwits -- but there's no way she'd agree to be VP, even though her paid vacations would be back in her grasp.
Wow. They make sunglasses for a**h**es.
Capitalism is an economic system compatible with individual freedom. We need more of it (capitalism & freedom), not less.
FUBS ESAD you POS
Thought the demoncraps got rid of superdelegates???
They're by Sphincter, Inc.
Cool.. Do they sell them at Sunglass Hut?
Luntz is a duntz. Blew the 2016 and is a trump hater.
IMO, if Bernie or Joe gets the nomination, the VP will be a black woman. The implied reason will be "If the Old White Guy dies in office, we'll have the first black female president."
at his age Sanders will be lucky to be alive next year.
Whatever Luntz.
Ive heard it both ways. Maybe in name only?
They may, but after the fiasco of the Biden candidacy concludes late next year, it's possible that sunglasses will become very unpopular.
They'll cover their pretense of supporting women by abortion/infanticide; if the VP isn't Pete, it'll be some other minor character, but Latino, to reinforce the fiction that the DNC supports illegals -- maybe Julian Castro. Buttplug, like our VP Mike Pence, hails from Indiana, making it a head-to-head (ew, sorry) matchup.
I agree it will be Crazy Bernie.
Most of the Dem vote will split.
Blacks for Kamala and Booker.
Hispanics for Castro.
Gays for Boot-edge+edge.
Mods and elderly whites for Biden.
But the Bernie Bots will not split. They will stick with Dino and give him the nomination.
Then Trump will beat him like a stubborn farm mule.
Well, never mind.
I think Bernie gets the nomination with either Buttgiggig or Stacy Abrams VP. A truly pathetic ticket. Marxist vermin all.
I don’t think anyone is brave enough to have Stacy Abrams on the ticket. She is clearly mental.
Frank is about as credible as CNN.

46% of Trump voters want to tax the rich?
Not a very republican way of thinking but seeing as ‘the rich’ are importers and retailers of chinajunk, big ag, big energy, big tech, big pharma, mostly politically left leaning and all selling out America anyway, who knows.
Somehow I don’t think taxing the rich will improve my life at all. Will china tools and auto parts quality improve or cost be lower? No, the price may go up but that’s about it.
Online poll of 1,000 people? Can’t Luntz do any better than that these days?
