PITTSBURGH In his first official event as a 2020 presidential candidate, Joe Biden skipped past the primary on Monday and went right to the general election.
From the atmospherics of his first campaign rally to the substance of his speech, the former vice president delivered a carefully calibrated message: While his rivals are chasing the Democratic nomination, Biden plans to pursue a mission focused on Donald Trump.
If Im going to be able to beat Donald Trump in 2020, its going to happen here, Biden told a packed crowd at the Teamsters Local 249 banquet hall.
Biden offered an economic message tailored for western Pennsylvania, where he praised organized labor and denigrated Wall Street CEOs and companies that used the Trump tax cuts to buy back stocks while laying off workers. He singled out the president by name, and at other times made implicit references that left no question about whom he was talking about.
Donald Trump is the only president who has decided not to represent the entire country. We need a president who will work for all Americans, Biden said, standing in front of a sign that read Biden Works for America.

If people believe groping memes are going to take down Biden they're fooling themselves.
Biden is a legitimate threat not because he's competent but because all Democrats needs is a viable alternative to Trump and they'll vote as a bloc regardless of the candidate.
Groping memes and nicknames aren't going to discourage Democrats for voting for Biden.
He is an extreme liberal, he just looks moderate compared to the marxists running.
Don't don't tell me a booming economy will save Trump.
Democrats don't care. They vote FOR poverty programs all the time.
> If people believe groping memes are going to take down Biden they’re fooling themselves. <
Right! Trump evidently had an affair with Stormy Daniels. That was distasteful. But it really didn’t matter much to us Trump supporters. The same goes for Biden’s supporters and his groping.
> Once Biden comes out strongly anti-gun... <
Biden is dumb. But he’s not politically stupid. He won’t come out as strongly anti-gun, regardless of what the Democrat platform is. Instead, he’ll babble on about how he and his uncle went deer hunting in Scranton when he was a kid.
Remember the VP debate between Biden and Paul Ryan back in 2012? Ryan was the odd-on favorite to beat Slow Joe. But Biden held his own, and more.
If the economy stays like it is nobody is beating President Trump.
Democrats vote as a bloc for the candidate they are given.
If they are given Biden they will vote for Biden.
Democrats don't vote for booming economies. They vote for poverty. Look at who they vote for to run their cities.
“Groping memes and nicknames aren’t going to discourage Democrats for voting for Biden.”
All of this may not be an issue in the long run. We can’t forget that Biden, as VP, was involved in some of the Spygate meetings, as was reported yesterday or today. He may be in the Big House instead of the White House.
Biden is a centrist?
Biden is a centrist?
Amazing, how fast our anti Trumpsters destroy themselves with their own rhetoric!
So these voters like lower wages and higher taxes and unemployment?

i bet he didn’t have 200 people at his kickoff “rally” ...
” And its no coincidence that Biden picked blue collar Pittsburgh for this rally.”
Pittsburgh hasn’t been an industrial town for many decades, and essentially has now been almost totally yuppified; furthermore, Pittsburgh voted overwhelming for Hillary, so Jo Bidn isn’t swinging any voters here away from Trump and it’s a very safe place for him to start a campaign ...
“Sometimes I think our side likes to whistle past the graveyard.”
and yet another nattering nabob of negativism is heard from ...
Who’s this “Bidn” character?
Did they clear the stage in time for the middle school play? (snicker)
Its gonna be this joker for a couple weeks
Get used to it
Only 15 moths of this shiite to go
