Trump says Barbara Bush 'should be' nasty to him: 'Look what I did to her sons'
CNN Politics ^ | April 5, 2019 | Nick Neville

President Donald Trump suggested in a new interview that former first lady Barbara Bush had a right to be "nasty" to him after his long-running criticisms of her sons.

"I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be. Look what I did to her sons," Trump told The Washington Times in an Oval Office interview Thursday.

Trump was responding to anecdotes in a new biography of Barbara Bush by Susan Page, who writes that at the time of her death, the former first lady no longer considered herself a Republican due to Trump's rise.

During the 2016 primary, Trump consistently hammered Bush's sons, labeling Jeb Bush "low energy" and criticizing George W. Bush's presidency. Coming into the 2016 race, Jeb Bush was considered among the front-runners for the Republican nomination, but after he had a disappointing showing in the South Carolina primary -- due in no small part to Trump's repeated attacks during the campaign -- he dropped out of the race.

Women, for the most part, are ready made fascists. Just imagine the women in the audience and watching at home who tune into "The View''. Tell them "Let's get rid of guns, all men should be castrated...'' anything like that and they're all in agreement. "Oh yes, yup uh, huh,,we should have LAWS against that kind of thing! Lock them up, for the children!''

Perhaps the most determinative litmus test revealing whether one is a Democrat or a Republican is one's position on abortion. I wrote this more than 11 years ago:

But it is Laura Bush and Momma Bush who really and truly speak for the family and who tell us what they are thinking and who they are. There's not a Bush woman who does not believe in abortion. They believe in family, they live in loyalty, they believe in the tribe, but they do not believe in partisan politics.

The Bushes have never been movement conservatives, rather they are a family dynasty which has had remarkable success by accommodating and appeasing establishment forces. It is been said that George HW Bush had the biggest Rolodex in Washington DC-at a time when Rolodex is still appeared on desks. In other words, Bush made his way by retail politics threading his way through the establishment from relationship to relationship and job to job while never truly offending any faction.

In the matter of abortion, there is no gray area, there is no accommodation to be had with infanticide, there is no "other hand." Barbara Bush is on one side of the issue and virtually every Republican with any conservative bona fides is on the other.

That litmus test tells us why we were led as a movement so far astray by the Bush family.

The only person who doesn’t remember where he was the day JFK was killed. George HW Bush.

I was only ten months old, but I’m pretty sure mom just finished giving me lunch when the news broke.

Filthy Bushes.

The press is always looking for a "gotcha" with PDJT but he somehow manages to handle the curve ball with his usual skills. Even the so called "friendly press" allowed private interviews are still looking for their pound of flesh.

They would have never dared to ask a potentially embarrassing question of the Kenyan, knowing full well the consequences to them personally and possibly their newsroom.

Everything you need to know about the way CNN views the Bush clan is in this opening to a fawning puff piece from 2015. Jeb(!) was supposed to be the fake opposition for Hillary, but then the mean orange man came along and wreaked everything. No wonder CNN and their ilk are perpetually pissed.

“Miami (CNN)Jeb Bush, a scion of the most recognizable family in Republican politics who fashioned an image as a sober-minded conservative truth-teller while governor of Florida, is running for president.”

Quite unimpressive; I hadn’t considered her a Republican in decades.

“Illegal Immigration Is An Act of Love“

It truly can be in some peoples’ minds. Wanting to help the suffering is admirable. But the best I can say for that utterance is that it’s far from The whole story.

“It truly can be in some peoples’ minds”

Because sticking Americans with the high cost of illegal immigration is so easily rationalized by foreign nationals who put their own wants first.

And the same goes for political hacks who cater to illegals. Like Jeb and Dubya. It gives them the chance to feel some cheap virtue at the expense of the country that they swore to serve.

A real win-win except for, oh, California and every other state that’s been ruined by these Acts Of Love.

“foreign nationals who put their own wants first”

It’s their wants versus ours. They’re applying force on our borders. If we don’t counter it we lose.

By “they” I mean the individual migrants and political organizers and possibly governments.

We are in a form of war.
