OH, I see, your talking about the one signed last year when we had a non-majority majority in the Senate. Enlighten us on how he could have done better given the hand he was dealing with at the time.

This last bill passed both Houses with veto proof majorities. Large numbers of House and Senate Republicans voted for it. As I see it President Trump is one of the few in DC who isn’t part of the problem.
I think you will be surprised at the groundswell of support President Trump will receive in 2020.
Unless the Dems can come up with another candidate who looks like Will Smith and sounds like an NPR announcer.

They are ready to raze our houses down and force us into Zero Emission and to use Bicycles to get to Hawaii (if not trains, LOL).
They want to take your 401K to pay for others Social Insecurity Payments (as SS is going bust soon). They want you to pay for others Abortions and force Doctors to do them.
They want to Close the Churches and keep church goers out of Government.
In Short, THEY WANT CONTROL OVER YOU AND EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO AND SAY.

If Trumps numbers were as bad as he claims and he opposes Trump why would he try to get involved at all? He is a clear cut liar.

Unless the emergency declaration somehow clears the courts in record time (and clears it at all), Trump is likely to end up with 4 years gone and little or no new barriers and a massive illegal surge coming to take advantage of his bring-a-kid amnesty.
Plus a boost in legal work visas instead of the promised reduction in legal chain migration.
Betrayal is a poor reelection strategy.
(I'll still vote for him, of course for judicial picks and overall GOP vs Rat policy. But not out of any belief that he will slow the invasion. )
Hogan is drop dead GOPe, no friend of the president.
Actually with illegals now wanting to get caught (for the bring-a-kid amnesty), the barriers are being made less useful.
Barriers only deter people who don’t want to get caught. If you want to get caught they are just an inconvenience.
If you want to get caught, you can take your time, climb slowly in full view of the waiting border patrol. Heck you can drop your kid from 15 feet up, like some recent illegal did. The point is just to eventually get over, surrender and say the magic word “asylum”.
I read yesterday that Hogan thinks Reagan was a great president (I concur) but he hates Trump. He bragged that he wrote in his father's name in 2016 just to show what an "anti-Trumper" he is.
I doubt Hogan would even win the primary in Maryland against Trump in 2020 - and I am sure he would not prevail in a national.
I always felt that Ehrlich cared about his constituents but do not feel that way about Hogan at all.
