Eric Trump said his father should declare a national emergency to build a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.
“I want him to declare an emergency,” Trump told Fox News Tuesday night. The president has said he will consider using a national emergency declaration to override congressional discussions and obtain the money for a border wall by executive action.
Democrats proposed a bill, which was passed and signed, that temporarily reopened the government for three weeks while discussions continued over President Trump’s demand of funding for a physical barrier at the southern border. The president had scuttled a bipartisan spending deal that did not include more than $5 billion for the wall, one of his signature campaign promises, which led to a five-week partial government shutdown starting Dec. 22....

I would prefer that President Trump use his authority under the Drug Enforcement Act to choose the border, therefore denying his opponents the opportunity to quash it in the courts. Horowitz has a great article about this possibility and the military stands ready to do the job.

I agree...doesn’t matter whether one agrees with what he says or not, he shouldn’t be commenting in public.
His dad seems to think that his saying something is helpful and so he did say something just like daddy trump told him to.

Ivanka seems to have the liberal woman’s disease. She has compassion for those affected by a decisive action but no compassion for those being hurt without decisive action.
I see this post brought out a bunch of the professional concern trolls....then they wonder why the battle seems so uphill...
