Okay. Whatever, you Trump haters are probably saying. But of course the middle class was screwed by the Trump tax cuts that only helped the rich, right?
Oh wait. The Trump tax cuts doubled the standard deduction to $12,000 for individuals and $24,000 for families. That's a huge change that takes millions of Americans out of federal income tax altogether and has effectively increased incomes for middle class families across the country.
What else helps the middle class? Jobs. But of course that "idiot" Trump couldn’t create them.

Trump 2020, or lose all of your freedoms and properties!
Trump is doing a lot of great things. But I still want to see the wall, and I still want to see bad Democrats in jail. Some things are moving very slowly.
We may not lose our properties, but we will look more and more like Mexico or Honduras if a democrat wins WH in 2020.
But wait, Mexico has very strict immigration policy, and in Honduras it is impossible to cheat in elections.

The Trump haters(our corrupt stasi state, both parties, corrupt courts and fakestream media) have effectively nullified Trump’s presidency.
I'm no Trump basher, but he had Pelosi and Schumer in his office, on TV, he got the better of them. He was going to force a shutdown to get his $5B. And then he folded. He didn't push. He decided to try something else.
I'm disappointed.
But I will also say, that if Trump just uses spare change the military has lying around, and if Pelosi and Schumer go ballistic, then he does expose the fact that it's not about money, it's not about a shutdown -- it's just about Democrats not wanting us to have national borders.
This could still work out just fine. But I was ready to see a fight and I'm disappointed that the fight was called off.
NTs and proglibs want to hate him because he can easily do all the things they want everyone to believe are impossible or very difficult, which is revealing their incompetence or anti-American agenda.

when that wackadoo Kamala Harris agrees with Trump, I dont have a good feeling about this. Is it me? It’s like a mental patient agreeing with the doctor they’re absolutely crazy..
The “tax cuts” are hit & miss...my elderly middle-class mother will probably end paying more income tax...she has large medical expenses (well in excess of the $24K std. deduction)(dad in a skilled nursing facility). So the loss of the personal exemptions will probably cause her taxes to go up. Just about time for me to do some “preliminary figuring” for her via TurboTax or something, then I’ll know for sure.
They should have gone the other way....reduce/eliminate the “standard deduction” and cut the tax rates to compensate. Charities are hurting for donations now that some of the motivation to donate is removed.
And to think that the House GOP wanted to eliminate the medical expense deduction all together!! Fortunately the Senate GOP nixed that idea.

Shutdown will not result in funding for the wall. Democrats are 100% against it, and many republicans in congress are against it as well.
The result will be a humiliating end when Gov’t will be open again after a long shutdown and no wall!
Again, Trump is not a dictator. He can only push and push for his agenda, but without funding from congress nothing will get built.
Only way the wall gets built is if there are enough votes in 2020 to gain huge majorities in congress. In 2018, we lost 40 seats in the House. Votes are just not there to repudiate the pro-illegal-immigrant democrats.
Absolutely the best POTUS evah, at least since I arrived here just before JFK got elected.
