Don’t you wish Trump was a dictator? Then he would not have to wait for the House of Reps to initiate funding bills.
Under Democrats there will be a war with Russia.
I'm no Trump basher, but he had Pelosi and Schumer in his office, on TV, he got the better of them. He was going to force a shutdown to get his $5B. And then he folded. He didn't push. He decided to try something else.
I'm disappointed.
But I will also say, that if Trump just uses spare change the military has lying around, and if Pelosi and Schumer go ballistic, then he does expose the fact that it's not about money, it's not about a shutdown -- it's just about Democrats not wanting us to have national borders.
This could still work out just fine. But I was ready to see a fight and I'm disappointed that the fight was called off.
