Top congressional Democrats on Wednesday slammed President Trump's response to a series of suspicious packages sent to prominent Democratic officials, saying his "words ring hollow."
"Time and time again, the President has condoned physical violence and divided Americans with his words and his actions," Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) said in a joint statement.
The two Democratic leaders pointed to Trump's support for Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-Mont.), who pleaded guilty to assaulting a reporter, and accused the president of supporting "dictators around the world who murder their own citizens, and referring to the free press as the enemy of the people."
"President Trump's words ring hollow until he reverses his statements that condone acts of violence," Schumer and Pelosi said....

I expected nothing less from Chucky and Pelosi. No matter what he said they would have released this statement.

Trump is in the right - no need to apologize or “reverse” saying truth.
It’s really unsettling the number of people in the course of this world making a living in ways of selfish, ungodly motives and intent like Chuck, Nancy and numerous others. I want to beleive there is good in everyone but some people make it so hard to keep believing that.
Calling the media we have today a “free press” is ridiculous, they have traded their freedom for an enslavement to cultural Marxism and political correctness.
They are the enemy of the freedom they claim to serve.
A non-violent response to them is justified. Where we might agree is that any form of violence is not appropriate.
However, if they were the “free press” that they claim to be, they would be openly pursuing obvious leads in this story that bloggers on line are pursuing. The same goes for many other issues. They have lost the ability to be objective, and confuse being left with being right.
As to the Democrats getting up on any soapbox after this, you just have to grimace and move on, they were the ones who called half of their fellow citizens “deplorables” and described a motley group of right wing protesters as Nazis while ignoring the communist street gang mentality of the supposed “good guys” in the conflict.
In my view, they are 99% responsible for the climate of cultural civil war, it has always been their side attacking our side on every front, in court, in workplaces, even around family gathering dinner tables. They just can’t shut their big mouths long enough to listen to reason, then they turn around and call us extremists.
There are many ways in many languages to say what this is starting with “excrement”.

I find it curious that the other day, lil’ Chuckie Schumer said it looked like the elections would be really close in November, barring an unforeseen surprise or two prior. I thought that was an odd statement to make, and now I understand what he possibly meant.

Multiple Senators are on the record rejecting Trump’s nominee before he announced it.

What is the truth about the Gianforte incident? To listen to Pelosi or Schumer, you’d think some innocent “reporter” was just standing there when the evil Republican came up and body-slammed him.
I suspect the truth is quite a bit different.
Schumer said he had more up his sleeve hours before they started finding pipe duds.
They accuse the President and those who support him of being everything they are in spades. They are truly Orwellian. Let’s hope there are enough sane people left in this nation to fend off the catastrophe to come if these narcissistic people gain power again. Only a fool would not notice the sequence of events over the past two weeks. The visuals of the brown shirts in Portland, Oregon, abusing and taking away the rights of citizens to be peacefully on the streets, the assaults on Republicans in restaurants, rock through GOP window headquarters. Then, came the Pelosi demonstration from one person which looked fake in comparison to the real assaults on people. Did you wonder then whether there was more of that to come, so the Democrats could try to say they are the ones being assaulted? How about that stock market crash and the invasion of S. American caravan after caravan which appeared out of thin air, headed toward the US. And, the town criers over at CNN blamed all of it on the President who has just delivered the most awesome two years of success to this nation that may be the best in history. Who can we trust? Do we have enough honest FBI agents to tell us the truth about those bombs, so obvious to the postal centers, planted like seeds against the Presidents most powerful enemies? It is very hard these days to be hopeful when one feels that the left would rather see this nation gone than to allow Trump his right to govern as all President’s before him have done. Cloward and Pevin, Columbia University sociologists, in 1966 came out with their “socialist-manifesto,” which simply was to create so many welfare recipients in the US through overloading the US government with so many impossible welfare demands that economic collapse would be inevitable and the nation could then become socialist. Think of this and wonder who is behind those caravans heading our way. Have Cloward and Pevin and their followers finally succeeded? We will get better insight into that after the election. Pray and vote.
No, it is your words that are hollow. It is the media, the liberals and the Democrats that promote violence. Just review the words that these 3 groups spout almost daily. Evil is their core belief.
He let you speak at his inaugural Chuckie for some unity and bipartisanship. I doubt he’ll do that at his second.
