Local- and state-level leaders across the country say they’re ready to lash out against Democrats in the midterm elections.
When many conservative women around the country watched Christine Blasey Ford appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, they didn’t find her testimony compelling or convincing, as many liberals did.
They saw a political farce.
“Honestly, I don’t think I have ever been so angry in all of my adult life,” says Ginger Howard, a Republican national committeewoman from Georgia. “It brings me to the point of tears, it makes me so angry.”
In interviews with roughly a dozen female conservative leaders from as many states, this was the overwhelming sentiment: These women are infuriated with the way the sexual-assault allegations against the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have been handled. They are not convinced by Ford or any other woman who has come forward. They resent the implication that all women should support the accusers. And they believe that this scandal will ultimately hurt the cause of women who have been sexually assaulted.
Above all, these women, and the women they know, are ready to lash out against Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections.
Nearly all the women I spoke with are plugged into state- and local-level conservative politics. Their collective, overwhelming sense is that, like Howard, women voters are angry about what’s happening to Kavanaugh. “I’ve got women in my church who were not politically active at all who were incensed with this,” says Melody Potter, the chairwoman of the West Virginia Republican Party—the first woman to hold that position, she made sure to point out. What's the news on the ground where you live? Did the Democrats forget that at least half of the women in this country would feel this way and that feminism is a dirty word to many people? I guess the writers of those defeatist Kavanaugh vanities yesterday didn't think about this angle.
The women in Alaska and Maine need to get angry, too. Those Senators need to fear for the political lives.
In Louisiana I saw women on social media siding with Kavanaugh and criticizing the Democrats’ fraud and delay
So where are we after all of this craziness? We’re still stuck with he said/she said with no concrete proof either way. What a mess. One of them is lying and we may never know ... so why did they bother? Because the Dems want to be a stick in the mud, that’s why!
Every woman I’ve talked to sides with Kavenaugh.
A woman in my office who has never voted in her life because she didn’t want to get called for Jury Duty, has registerd Republican and will be voting straight republican.
1. Because she loves Trump because he has made a huge difference
2. Because she can’t believe what they are doing to Kavanaugh. (she has a 20 year old son)
She also took her husband, son and daughter to register. They are all voting republican in November.
This is good news. I have believed that among Republican voters, affluent Republican suburban women were the biggest threat to abandon the party for the midterm elections. Certainly, the Democrats thought so, and have targeted that group in many contested House districts.
While this article discusses Conservative women, which may not translate to Suburban Republican women, at least some suburban women will return to the fold as a result of the Kavanaugh debacle. As Ford lies emerge in rapid fire fashion, this group of voters are not happy campers.
I understand that a copy of the FBI report has been delivered to the Senate. The leaks will follow shortly and we will know if any new information emerges. I suspect that anything new will hurt the Democrats.

I live in a conservative area surrounded by a mix of old school Democrats and ultra lefties. The women I know are furious at the attack on Cavanaugh, do not believe Ford for a minute. Angry at Democrats for leading this circus.
Old school Democrat women are a mix, some say they are done with the Democrats...this was their final straw. Some side with the ultra lefties...of course the ultra lefty women are following lock step with the talking points- not as radical as the pussy hat crowd but pretty radical for these parts.
My WIFE ( a woman) is mad as hell at Democrats !She really believes now that Liberalism is a Mental Disease.
They bother because nothing is more important to them than their agenda. The dims may have known it was a farce from the beginning, even orchestrated this mess (what I believe) or it fell in their lap. The thing is it doesn’t matter to them, it works for them. They truly don’t care about women or any other issue/people they claim to support. With them it is all about power and money...and taking us closer to socialism because they believe they will have more power and money.
Anything that stirs up their kool aid drinkers suits them, they do not care about the truth. This was never about the truth...just fit their agenda, they don’t want anyone on the Supreme Court that is not far left. That would mess with their agenda for years to come.

Lots of liberals looked at the photo showing the women seated behind Kavanaugh as he spoke in the hearing and projected their own feelings into the horrified and repulsed expressions. They thought all women felt that way. They didn’t realize until after the meme had circulated all over the place that those were the women who are the closest to him—his mother, wife, close friends, and former clerk. Any woman who cares about a man ought to be equally horrified to realize that this could happen to their man too.
My friend and I were both unimpressed with Ford’s croaking, baby voice. As women we both know that to get a man to come around to your wants is to play the wittle girl with the hurt feelings. It was so obviously a ploy and every sane woman can see right through it. As a mother of a 22 year old son I worry what this could mean for his future.
At least a few women- I don’t know any outside of this small area, who might have been sympathetic to Ford were quite put off by the precious little girl voice she affected. They felt uncomfortable with the performance.
You need to get out more. Among the under 30 set of women, they are pretty much at a 60% consensus of her being Jean d’Arc and Kavanaugh being a lynch worthy rapist. My daughter’s twitter and facebook posts, and the ones made by her friends give me a pretty good insight as to what the left leaning younger females in North Texas are thinking on a variety of topics.
Some women hereabouts feel that Ford’s performance encourages jokes about “women drivers” and similar insults that have been muted in the last decades as if she is reinforcing the “stupid woman” mutterings.
Americans need to make the leftist, America haters pay in November.

This is the first time I see a real possibility of Civil War. Not just Kavanaugh, but now Schiff and others trying to bust in on Trump tax returns to find something. anything.
Need some harsh prosecutions. Damn the ‘optics’. Confirm Judge K and keep the FBI investigation digging into these accusers and their Democrat enablers.
Prosecute all those participating in damaging Judge K, of subverting the process of confirmation. Indict AFTER the Midterms. Try them, convict them, sentence them to the maximum possible not to settle emotional desires, but to set an example and deter Democrats and RINOs who might consider criminal acts in the future.
They need to be held accountable for the good of the country.
