The Fahrenheit 11/9 director also said Americans should expect the evil genius to be re-elected in 2020.
Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore said he believes President Donald Trump either wrote or directed one of his staffers to write the anonymous Op-Ed in The New York Times that described an alleged resistance effort within his administration.
Trump or one of his minions wrote it, Moore told CNN in an interview published Sunday. Hes the master distractor. Hes the king of the misdirect. If we have learned anything by now, its that he does things to get people to turn away.
He continued: Let me give you the line in there that is most identifiable that he wants the public to believe. Its the line that says, Dont worry, adults are in the room. Thats the idea, to get us to calm down and look away from what hes really doing.
In the explosive Op-Ed, published earlier this month, an unnamed senior Trump administration official describes being one of several others actively working to undermine aspects of the presidents agenda.
Many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trumps more misguided impulses until he is out of office, the anonymous author wrote.
The piece sparked instant fury from Trump, who said it could be considered an act of treason and called on the Justice Department to unearth the writer.
The Times Op-Ed page editor, James Dao, has said he personally spoke to the anonymous writer, who was connected to the newspaper by an intermediary whom we know and trust.
In his interview with CNN, Moore called Trump an evil genius and said Americans should expect him to be a two-term president....

I wrote it!
Fat Mikey has been smokin’ too many donuts.
LOL!
When I read it I thought the same thing.
When I read it I thought the same thing.
Michael Moore ate all the minions.
I think he wrote it!
I bet Moochal Moore put up $5-10 million as an inducement to get the op-ed writer to come out of hiding and be in one of his movies, and no one took him up on it.
He moore, ought to know— he stole half the title to his crappy two movies from.... Ray Bradbury— who could really write.
How ironic— Ray Bradbury wrote “Farenheit 451” after the temperature of burning paper... about a sci fi horror culture that controls ALL information (like Moore wants to do, turd that he is and owner of three huge homes liar that he is, and heart attack slob that he is). A society where all books are hunted down by a special team of “firemen” (the main character Montag- Monday) who find the books and burn them, and send the secret owners away for ever. A society where a secret group of people commit, each one to memorize a book, a classic book from the past... so that the past is NOT forgotten.
And Montag has a huge screen TV which observes him at home, tells him what to do and when and play sophomoric “videos” and his reading matter are wordless comic strips. A brilliant story and prescient. And Bradbury was a major leftie lib— and it’s the leftie libs that want to control us and force their socialism on us all. Ironic in the extreme.
Even more likely that Michael Moore wrote it.
Moore is just trying to get his name in the paper. Pathetic.
Not meaning to nitpick, but 451°F is the temperature at which paper is supposed to auto-ignite, that is to start burning without any external source of ignition, although experiments vary as to the actual number and type of paper (Bradbury claimed that temperature to apply to “book paper”). Burning paper quite often exceeds 1,500°F at its hottest.
Some people say Omarosa is actually still working for Trump and that her ‘tapes’ actually exonerate him from all the media b.s. narratives rather than implicate.
Who cares what Jabba the Hutt thinks!
Barking dog... accuse others of what you have done !
Mentioning Moore and Bradbury in the same breath is blasphemy.
This green card cuck is clueless.
Ace Ventura on donuts.
The Don been in NYC for how long? Oh thats right, birth.
Has many friends and enemies.
Michael Moore also thinks that presidents are elected by popular vote. And he thinks that Cuba has banging universal healthcare. Which just goes to prove his thinking ability has been long handicapped by consumption of copious amounts of wine.
