Trump is now at 50 percent approval at Rasmussen, the most accurate poll of the 2016 election. That is far higher than Trump was on Election Day.
But there’s another key indicator. I can see and feel a “sea change” in American politics. Rasmussen has Trump at 36 percent approval among black Americans. That’s 19 points higher than a year ago.
How big is this development? In the past 10 presidential elections, the high-water mark for GOP candidates was 1996, when Bob Dole won 12 percent of the black vote. If Trump wins 20 percent of the black vote in 2020, he’s a lock for a landslide re-election. If he wins 25 percent, it’s a generational tsunami.
Democrats aren’t stupid. Maybe slightly insane at this point. But not stupid. They can see and feel what’s happening. They are petrified. The result is they’re getting sloppy. They’re on tilt.
Enter New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. He said in a speech last week, “We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great.”
Truth. The Democratic Party is now the party of people who hate and denigrate America. People who believe transsexual cakes are more important than a thriving U.S. economy. People who believe plastic straws are the enemy. People who believe what’s wrong with America can best be solved with more convicts voting. Democrats have become a danger to us all.

As a devout Catholic, all I can say is: Dear God, I hope you're wrong.
The black vote is the key to turning the rust belt into the MAGA belt. And if we have a solid MAGA belt, we can dominate for a generation.
Can’t wait for Nov. All this drama. It’s like life is one drumroll.

When votes are decided on around 5% of the vote I would say the demoncraps are possibly in deep $#!+.
Think about how many working-class black people really want illegal immigrants moving into their neighborhood, selling dope and doing crime. Stupid democrats make us think about issues through a racial lens, but that’s wrong- and the numbers show it. People, regardless of race or skin color, aren’t stupid, they know when their families are threatened and when their livelihood is at risk, and they know when they are better off and when their kids have a chance at a better future.

How in Heaven’s name do the Democrats figure that appearing more weird, more anti American, more anti family, more anti sanity, is going to somehow convince normal, American, family voters to vote for them? It is like some kind of out of control political suicide. Not that I would have them do different, but what in the hell are they thinking?
I predict some sort of massive and overtly public break in the party will precipitate, as I am certainly not alone in seeing this. Either someone starts getting it, getting “woke” to their self defeating idiocy, or we can assume the remainder of semi-sane former Democrats have tossed in the towel, and will side with Trump. I am not sure at all this is true, but we will inevitably see.
I think that this conversation between Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock in “The Undiscovered Country” about Klingons has application to the Democrat Party:

The dems believed in the year that Obama won in 2008 that they needed every black to vote in order to win.
The 'Rat playbook has always depended on the GOP black vote being single digit. Black vote 36% GOP, should it happen, would be a tsunami Red Wave.
But, remember, that math assumes all GOP voters turn out. Because the moonbats will be out in force.

We live in a peculiarly American fantasy world where many poor people are ridiculously fat and some rich people look emaciated and muscular at the same time. This is a world where the concerns of humanity are not what they have been for millions of years. With the removal of religion and country as center posts of cultural life, people desperately seek something grander than themselves to focus on. Liberalism is a cluster of “causes.” In the grand scheme they are fraudulent causes; global warming, peak oil, racial discrimination...none of these are even real. Oh, I’m sure there’s discrimination. But it’s discrimination against people who have surly attitudes and who act badly in society towards others.
The reason the Left acts so stupidly is that there is no focus to their lives that leads them to act better. No religion, no patriotism, nothing. Emptiness must be filled with something.

The Democrats could salvage their party if they come back toward the center. They are being perceived as lunatic fringe because they are boiling the frog too quickly. They showed their hand and now it will cost them. Some of their leadership should reign them in or they will go the way of the Whiggs.
