President Trump is expected to attend a fundraiser on Friday in the Hamptons hosted by the chairman of Nathan's Hot Dogs, Bloomberg reports.
Howard Lorber, who oversees the hot dog empire and a Manhattan real estate firm, will host a fundraiser to benefit Trump's reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC), sources told the outlet.
Bloomberg reported that Trump will attend a roundtable with supporters and a luncheon at Lorber's home in Southampton, which is roughly 90 miles from Manhattan.
Trump tapped Lorber in August 2016 to serve as an economic adviser to his presidential campaign. The two men are close friends, and explored business opportunities together in Russia in 1996, Bloomberg reported.
The fundraiser will mark Trump's second trip to New York this week. He traveled Monday to Fort Drum to sign this year's annual defense policy bill, followed by a stop in Utica for a fundraiser for Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.). The visit marked his first time in upstate New York since the 2016 election.
Prior to that, Trump spent the previous 10 days at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.
I’ve had them at my all time favorite coney joint in Port Huron. They’re excellent. I haven’t been able to find them here. Koegel’s, yes, with natural casing, no.
We LOVE Nathan’s!!
Now, even more so :)
How soon til Antifa attacks every Nathans in NYC, and its customers?
I was at Nathan’s four weeks ago. The counter in the picture has been moved back about 15 feet to free up human traffic on the street. Now they can move inside to order food.
I’ve been going there for 50+ years. Today’s hot dog is just as good as the ones I ate when I was a kid.
My favorite way to eat hot dogs is to grill a bunch of jalapeno peppers, pour some olive oil over them, and put into a soft brioche hot dog bun with a hot dog on top. Deutschmacher hot dogs are one of the better store brands to buy but get them in a butcher shop if you can.
There's a saying that once you know how hot dogs are made, you never eat them again. That's not true for me. I know how they are made and I know what is inside (some of them) but I still like eating them anyhow.
Sabrett’s dirty water dogs for me! Nathan’s aren’t bad, though. If I remember, they make them on a grill.
Nathans are my favorite hot dogs. Unfortunately my local source raised prices about a dollar recently.
I was planning on buying some Nathan’s hot dogs today.
I love hot dogs, either with chili and onions or with mustard and relish, or with sauerkraut. Ketchup is verboten.
I have one dog left!
Nathan’s and Hebrew National, my favorites. Yum
There can never be too much garlic!
HAHA!
So that’s why he called her a ‘dog” >;-]
That sounds delicious!
I don’t even care how they are made, or what’s in them though. I will eat practically anything!
from now on, it’s Nathan’s Hot Dogs only!
(((I wish this had happened at the BEGINNING of the summer!))))
I thing I’ll have a Nathan’s Hot Dog and a Nice Cold Sam Adams Beer!!!!
