Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a blowhard and flatly stating he does not like him.
Presidents George Bush and George W. Bush, the 41st and 43rd top executives respectively, spoke to author Mark K. Updegrove for the book The Last Republicans. It detailed the relationship between the father-and-son presidents and how they were fretful of what Trump had done to the Republican Party.
Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for none of the above.
I dont like him, George Bush said in May 2016 according to a The New York Times on Saturday. I dont know much about him, but I know hes a blowhard. And Im not too excited about him being a leader.
George W. Bush took umbrage with Trumps divisive brand of political machinery, a common accusation the current president faced along the campaign trail as throughout his first year in office.....

In retrospect, the only good thing to say about W was that he wasn’t Gore.
They love the Clintons so much, yet we’re supposed to believe that Jeb(!) would have been a viable candidate against her.
Cruz wouldn’t even endorse Trump, why do you think he voted for him? He didn’t wake up and smell his own bacon burning until several months after the inauguration.
That article was great, spot on. Freakin’ guy said not ONE word when the employee of the Muslim brotherhood was committing one act of treason after another, reinforcing the enemy, giving back everything our vets fought for to the enemy, and as soon as Trump runs here comes stuttering GW shooting his mouth off now he’s bad mouthing Trump. F the country, the Bush monarchy is more important.
The old man is a hack. His son is a blubbering retard.
I heard through my contact on the campaign that Cruz did.
Good post! And the reason none of us bought Yeb.
Newsweek and the MSM truly are getting desperate to keep manufacturing the idea that we should not like our President. NOW they care about W’s opinions??? ROFLMBO!!!
When corruption is SOP it ceases to matter.
You are right. My instincts tell me that no US Senators voted for Trump. Not one.
GWB book tour. PLEASE CLAP
The liberal Bushes just forever buried their political stock. It’s gone forever now. And yes they are all out of touch and irrelevant. I think its about time the justice department start going after Hillary full force. Nothing will shut the criminal establishment up until they see their crimes prosecuted.
More winning. Nothing like smoking them all out.
Winner winnner chicken dinner!
Jeb Bush even running for President is prima facie evidence of his insanity.
To think that a guy who’s father AND brother were both Presidents (bad ones) thinks he should be President too and would spend a 100 million dollars to run when he had NO CHANCE IN HELL OF GETTING THE NOMINATION OR BEATING SHRILLARY, that’s just severe megalomania coupled with psychotic delusion.
Good.
I have news for the Bush family- their disdain for DJT can be no greater than my family's disdain for them... and we were all backers in 2000/2004. We should have known that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Bush-4l was just never that ambitious as a President to begin with. His ratio of “Veto” to “Signed” was DISMAL, passing virtually everything that crossed his desk, with a special outreach to Ted Kennedy’s agenda.
Only the response to Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait redeems him in the least, and the “softball” approach to the Saudis both before and after the the events in the Persian Gulf diminish even that.
If there was to be an invasion anywhere in the Middle East, it should have been to capture the capital at Riyadh, and the Saudis deposed. Unfortunately, there are no “moderate” Arabs in all of Saudi Arabia, so whoever took over would be at least as militant as the Saud family.
Make that GHW Bush.
In hindsight, Perot was the original Trump when he challenged Bush. Unfortunately that may have lent a hand to Clinton winning, but if we had only known then what we know now.
