Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) is planning another run for the presidency in 2020, according to a report from New York magazine.
Since losing the nomination in last year’s Republican primaries, Kasich has kept on members of his campaign team who are helping him decide whether to run as a Republican or as an Independent, as he urges the Republican Party to move sharply to the left.
“I think we need to be pro-environment,” he told the magazine. “I think we need to completely redo education. … Look, I loved Ronald Reagan. I met Ronald Reagan. But Reagan was then. Now we gotta move on.”

In an interview with Fox News Sunday, Kasich said ......
“I think the bulk of the Republican Party — and I’ve been in the party since I was a college student — it’s one that believes in the fact that America has a place in the world, Reagan talked about it, it advances humanity. I agree. I think the bulk of the Republican Party does believe that immigration provides energy to our country.”

John Kasich actually nauseates me, I very seldom have these feelings towards ANY other human being but this guy AND McShame really get the hair on the back of my neck standing at attention!!!! This ASSHAT doesn’t stand a chance in HELL of winning dog catcher, it’s quite amazing he THINKS he could become POTUS!!!
He’ll still get 0 electoral votes. What’s the definition of insane again?
What’s funny is that Kasich thinks Democrats will like him.
Every Democrat I know cannot stand the guy, neither.

The vast majority of Republican voters are suburbanites.
Few of them voted for Kasich in 2016, and even fewer would vote for him in 2020 - especially in a primary challenge against an incumbent Republican president.
Kasuck will not take ONE SINGLE VOTE away from Trump in 2020.
Let's be honest. The bulk of republicans believe in ZERO immigration.
They're just too pussified to say it.
Kasich is dreaming he’ll be the “Bernie Sanders” of the 2020 GOP.
As I see it, the younger generation are much more sympathetic (i.e. more brainwashed) about the idea of ‘inclusion, environment stewardship, community-good (iow, socialism/communism), yada yada yada’
Kasich’s path is the exact copybook of Communist Uncle Bernie.
Well, maybe not POTUS.
But don’t underestimate the OOOOODLES of money he’s going to get from the mega billionaires. Who knows what kind of mischief the HUGE money can buy.
Besides, that would be money that won’t be flowing into real Republicans to fight against Democrats.
